Anne Hathaway has spent the past few months proving that maternity fashion doesn't have to follow traditional rules, and her latest red carpet appearance may be her boldest statement yet.

For the world premiere of The End of Oak Street in Los Angeles on August 9, the Oscar winner stepped onto the carpet wearing an unexpected couture look that combined architectural elegance with effortless denim, putting her growing baby bump front and center.

Rather than choosing a traditional evening gown, Hathaway embraced a fresh silhouette styled by longtime collaborator Erin Walsh. The actress wore a custom Atelier Prabal Gurung design featuring a structured halter top crafted from pale blue silk Mikado.

The sculptural piece featured a dramatic high-low hem that elegantly framed her baby bump while extending into a sweeping floor-length cape behind her. As she walked, flashes of a vibrant crimson lining created a striking contrast against the icy blue exterior, adding movement and theatricality to the minimalist design.

Instead of pairing the couture piece with a matching skirt or tailored trousers, Hathaway opted for relaxed low-rise blue jeans. The unexpected styling choice exposed her baby bump completely, blending casual Americana with high fashion in a way that felt both modern and fearless.

The look was elevated with equally luxurious accessories. Hathaway completed the ensemble with pink satin Aquazzura heels featuring pointed red toes, while dazzling Bvlgari jewelry adorned her wrists and ears. Diamond and ruby pieces echoed the crimson lining of the cape, tying the entire color story together.

Her beauty look remained timeless and polished. Hathaway wore her brunette hair pulled back into a sleek high ponytail that allowed the dramatic neckline to shine.

Soft bronze eye makeup, defined lashes, glowing skin, and perfectly sculpted brows kept the focus on her radiant complexion, while a bold matte red lip mirrored the rich red accents throughout the outfit, creating a glamorous Old Hollywood finish with a contemporary twist.

The premiere ensemble continues what has become one of the year's most talked-about celebrity maternity wardrobes. Since announcing her third pregnancy in June, Hathaway has consistently embraced silhouettes that celebrate her changing figure.

Working alongside stylist Erin Walsh, the actress has adopted the increasingly popular "bumps out" approach to maternity dressing, joining celebrities like Rihanna in challenging the once-common expectation that pregnancy should be hidden beneath oversized clothing.

Instead, Hathaway has repeatedly made her baby bump the focal point of her fashion choices, seamlessly blending couture craftsmanship with confident styling.

Throughout the promotional tour for The Odyssey, The Devil Wears Prada 2, and now The End of Oak Street, Hathaway has showcased a diverse range of designer looks.

She has worn ethereal custom Prada gowns inspired by Grecian draping, romantic Dior creations in soft periwinkle hues, structured Louis Vuitton ensembles featuring leather corsetry, and even made headlines for creatively reversing an Ashlyn jumpsuit to achieve a more flattering neckline.

Whether dressed in dramatic couture, fluid knitwear, or relaxed separates, Hathaway has consistently demonstrated that maternity fashion can be just as experimental and glamorous as any other red carpet wardrobe.
