Camila Mendes is fully leaning into the visible underwear trend, and doing it in her own polished, sculptural way. The actress turned heads in São Paulo, Brazil, during the premiere of 'Masters of the Universe,' stepping onto the red carpet in a monochromatic burgundy ensemble that balanced sensuality with sleek sophistication.

Styled by longtime collaborator Molly Dickson, Mendes wore a cropped, long-sleeve sheer top in a deep wine hue that subtly revealed a matching bra layered underneath. Rather than making the exposed lingerie element feel overt, the translucent fabric created a softer, elevated effect that played into the season’s ongoing fascination with barely-there dressing.

She paired the daring top with a coordinating high-waisted silk maxi skirt in the same rich burgundy tone, allowing the contrast between the airy sheer fabric and the liquid-like satin finish to create dimension throughout the look. The silhouette felt clean and elongated while still dramatic enough for a blockbuster premiere carpet.

Her accessories stayed minimal but impactful. Mendes added black-and-gold dangling earrings and a pearl-white manicure that subtly brightened the otherwise moody color palette.

The beauty look tied everything together seamlessly. Her honey-brown bob was styled sleek and straight with a sharp side part, grazing just above her shoulders for a refined Old Hollywood-inspired finish.

Makeup remained warm and understated, featuring a soft brown smoky eye, glowing skin, and a classic nude lip that kept the focus on the rich monochromatic styling.

On the carpet, Mendes posed alongside co-star Nicholas Galitzine, who opted for a starkly different aesthetic in an oversized gray Prada suit. Styled by Ben Schofield, the relaxed tailoring featured a loose double-breasted jacket paired with wide-leg trousers, giving the look an effortless luxury feel.

Later in the evening, Galitzine surprised fans by swapping the suit jacket for a custom Brazilian soccer jersey featuring his name and the number 10.

The São Paulo appearance also continues Mendes’ ongoing love affair with deep burgundy tones this season. Earlier this month, the actress drew praise at the Met Gala in a custom mahogany chiffon gown by Manish Malhotra, reinforcing wine-inspired shades as a defining element of her current fashion era.

And that wasn’t the only standout moment from the 'Masters of the Universe' press tour.

For the film’s global premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles earlier this month, Mendes stunned in a custom sequined gown by Cong Tri. The figure-hugging copper-gold design featured hundreds of metallic sequins that created a striking liquid-metal effect under the flashbulbs, complete with a sophisticated halter neckline and dramatic flowing train.

Switching up her glam entirely for that appearance, Mendes wore a sleek wet-look bob and radiant bronze-toned makeup by makeup artist Lisa Aharon using Armani Beauty products, proving the actress is quickly becoming one of the breakout fashion stars of this year’s blockbuster press tour.
