Jennifer Lopez pairs silky slip dress with lace-trim neckline and tuxedo-inspired blazer at Beverly Hills gala

Just days before returning to the stage in Las Vegas, Jennifer Lopez stepped out in Los Angeles for a meaningful night.

The global superstar took the stage at An Unforgettable Evening Benefiting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a star-studded charity gala held at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel on March 11.

The annual event raises funds for groundbreaking cancer research and brings together a host of high-profile supporters from across entertainment and fashion.

During the evening, Lopez presented the Courage Award to Kerry Washington, honoring the actress for her advocacy following her mother Valerie’s breast cancer diagnosis in 2004. Celebrating her longtime friend onstage, Lopez delivered a heartfelt tribute highlighting Washington’s dedication to raising awareness and supporting research.

For the occasion, Lopez leaned into sleek evening tailoring with a monochrome black ensemble that balanced power dressing with sensual details.

The look centered on a silky slip dress featuring a plunging lace-trim neckline that added a romantic edge to the minimalist silhouette. The piece cascaded into a pleated maxi skirt, creating elegant movement as she addressed the audience.

Layered over the dress was a sharply tailored blazer with glossy satin lapels, giving the ensemble a refined tuxedo-inspired feel while subtly echoing the delicate lace detailing beneath.

Her accessories added the signature sparkle fans expect from Lopez. Diamond Panthère de Cartier chandelier earrings framed her face, while coordinating bracelets and rings brought flashes of brilliance under the stage lights.

The charity gala drew a number of familiar faces from Hollywood and the fashion world, including Sofía Vergara, Kathy Hilton, Rachel Zoe, Carmen Electra, and Lori Loughlin, who attended alongside her daughter Olivia Jade.

For the travel day, Lopez opted for a sleek, high-waisted pencil skirt in a muted olive tone that hugged her silhouette and brought a tailored elegance to the look.

She paired it with a white button-down shirt worn slightly open at the neckline, adding a relaxed touch that balanced the structured feel of the skirt while still looking refined.
