There’s a lot of stuff to stream nowadays. In hopes of helping you watch more good movies and TV, we compile some of the most exciting titles streaming across all platforms in our weekly column, What To Watch.
Furious (Hulu)
"Furious" is coming to an end next Monday. The series, which has just been renewed for a second season, follows Alice (Emmy Rossum), a former cop turned FBI agent who's investigating a serial killer (Lola Petticrew) targeting men. It's one of my favorite shows of the year.
Adults (Hulu)
"Adults" is back for a second season, reuniting viewers with its cast of young and funny characters having some of their first real-world experiences.
Dark Matter (Apple TV)
"Dark Matter" follows a physics professor (Joel Edgerton) who's kidnapped by an alternate version of himself and thrown into a different dimension.
The Whisper Man (Netflix)
Now on Netflix, "The Whisper Man" follows a crime writer (Adam Scott) whose son is kidnapped. He reconnects with his estranged father (Robert De Niro), a retired cop, to solve the crime.
The Last Sunrise (Prime Video)
Starring Eva Longoria and Maia Reficco, "The Last Sunrise" follows a young girl with a health condition who moves to Marjoca with her mom and finds love with a local boy.
9 to 5 (Disney+)
This week we saw the loss of two great icons. To celebrate the life of Dolly Parton, you could watch one of her great films, "9 to 5," following three female office workers as they try to overthrow the sexist culture in their company.
Clue (Paramount+)
Tim Curry also died, and while my favorite film of his is "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," "Clue" is available on Paramount+ and is another great example of Curry's versatility and incredible comedic timing. The film is based on the board game of the same name, following a group of suspects gathered in an elegant manor as they try to determine who committed a crime.
