Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz celebrated Spain's victory over Argentina after the national team captured the FIFA World Cup title.
The Murcia-born athlete, who is currently recovering from an injury that forced him to miss both the French Open and Wimbledon, had the honor of opening the briefcase containing the World Cup trophy before it was presented to Spain. He was joined by South Korean actress and model Jung Ho-yeon, as well as soccer legends Andrés Iniesta and Mario Kempes, who previously won the World Cup with Spain and Argentina, respectively.

Laura is one of the major guest stars invited to perform at the closing ceremony; she was expected to sing Desire, the official tournament anthem, shortly before kickoff between Spain and Argentina.
The iconic Hollywood actor didn’t just come to the stadium to enjoy the game like any other fan — he also has a special role in the closing ceremony. For days it’s been reported that Tom would be part of the pre-game entertainment ahead of the Spain–Argentina final.
The beloved Colombian actress attended with her son Manolo and close friends who are die-hard fans of “La Roja” to enjoy the final. “World Cup excitement!!!!” she wrote on Instagram, sharing a few photos after arriving at the stadium.

Soccer great Zinedine Zidane was also on hand for the World Cup final. The former French star is set to become the new head coach of the French national team. “Zizou,” as he is known, will take over once Didier Deschamps’ tenure officially comes to an end.

Lindsey Vonn was firmly rooting for Spain, and watched her favorite team go on to lift the FIFA World Cup trophy. The skiing legend, who suffered a devastating crash during the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, is smiling again after a long recovery and five surgeries that ultimately saved her leg.
Vonn also has a personal connection to Spain, having dated Spanish aristocrat Diego Osorio for nearly four years before the couple went their separate ways.
