Leonor and Sofía have traveled to several countries, among them Greece. In addition to attending the family occasion earlier this year, the sisters have made private visits that allowed them to connect with the Greek heritage of their grandmother, Queen Sofía.

In keeping with customary precautions related to the line of succession, although no written rule requires it, King Felipe VI traveled to the United States with Queen Letizia and Infanta Sofía. Princess Leonor traveled separately.
