Jennifer Lopez is having a major pop culture moment, as her new collaboration with David Guetta, “Save Me Tonight,” has climbed from No. 5 to No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart dated May 2. The feat is powered by a 31% increase in spins across 24/7 dance stations, according to Luminate.

The chart-topper marks Lopez’s second No. 1 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay, following the massive success of “On the Floor” with Pitbull in 2011. That global anthem became one of the defining crossover records of its era, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominating multiple radio formats.

In 2026, Lopez has now landed No. 1s across 10 different Billboard radio charts. “I cannot believe it,” Lopez said in an Instagram Reel after learning the track had reached the summit. “Thank you guys so much. Go out there, dance this summer and have the best time. That’s why I made this record.”

David Guetta Extends a Dance Music Record

For Guetta, the single positioned at No. 1 feels like a walk in the park. The producer secures his record-extending 21st No. 1 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay, and notably his first chart leader of 2026. He has now earned at least one new No. 1 on the chart in eight consecutive calendar years, a streak no other artist has matched.

That consistency made him a club staple. Guetta remains one of the genre’s most durable hitmakers, and “Save Me Tonight” shows he and Lopez still have major chemistry.

Jennifer Lopez’s Summer Is Getting Even Bigger

As Lopez celebrates a well-deserved music win, she is also heading into our screens on what could be another headline-grabbing screen moment with Netflix's upcoming romantic comedy “Office Romance,” arriving June 5.

Directed by Ol Parker and written by Brett Goldstein and Joe Kelly, the film recently received an R rating, fueling even more curiosity around a project already positioned as one of the year’s most anticipated rom-coms. Parker even hinted that the movie may surprise audiences.

“It pushes the envelope slightly for what people might expect from a Jennifer Lopez movie,” he told People.

Lopez called it “a new kind of romantic comedy that really speaks to the times,” adding, “It’s a com rom! It’s a classic romance, with modern edgier humor.”

Goldstein, who co-wrote the script specifically for Lopez, offered insight into the film’s workplace dynamic. “I think I’ve always been drawn to workplace relationships because they are inherently loaded,” he said. “People trying their best to behave correctly while also being completely undone by their feelings is where comedy and romance live.”

‘Office Romance’ Plot

The film centers on Lopez as CEO, Jackie Cruz, and Goldstein as new employee Daniel Blanchflower, flipping the traditional office romance power structure and giving the premise a fresh hook. The supporting cast also raises expectations, with Betty Gilpin and Zuhdi Boueri joining the ensemble. For Lopez, this marks her third major scripted film for Netflix after “The Mother” and “Atlas.”

“The Mother” became one of Netflix’s most-watched films ever, and expectations are high that “Office Romance” could follow.
