Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Mescal, and more join the Oscars 2026 presenter lineup

The Oscars are right around the corner, and the lineup of presenters for the 98th Academy Awards is already stacked with major names. Conan O’Brien will return for the second year to host the ceremony, which will take place Sunday, March 15, 2026, live from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.

Who’s presenting this year?

A new group of presenters has just been added, including Will Arnett, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Paul Mescal, and Gwyneth Paltrow. It’s a mix of comedy, blockbuster power, and serious acting chops.

Downey Jr. and Hathaway are both Oscar winners themselves, making their returns to the stage feel full circle.

Downey Jr. took home the Academy Award for Oppenheimer in 2024, while Hathaway won Best Supporting Actress for Les Misérables. 

Paul Mescal, who has become one of the most talked-about actors of his generation, was not nominated for his role in Hamnet, but the film received eight nominations, including Best Picture.

Paltrow, also an Oscar winner, made her return in Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie. Co-starring with Timothée Chalamet, the film has nine nominations.

Previously announced presenters include Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph, and Zoe Saldaña, with more names expected to be revealed as the ceremony gets closer.

How to watch the 2026 Oscars

The 98th Oscars air Sunday, March 15, 2026. The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on ABC and will stream live on Hulu. The official red carpet show starts at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT, and HOLA! Will be there covering the arrivals, so stay tuned to our social media accounts.

Leading the pack with nominations is Ryan Coogler's vampire thriller Sinners. The Black talent-led film made history with 16 nominations, becoming the most-nominated film in Oscars history.

 Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another follows with 13. Both films are top contenders for Best Picture, alongside Marty Supreme, Bugonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, and Train Dreams.
