2025 Emmy Awards: Check out the full list of nominations

This year's Emmys will take place this September

The 2025 Emmy nominees have been announced! The award ceremony celebrates the best in television, including scripted and unscripted programs, celebrating some of last year's best entertainment. The 77th edition of the awards show will air live on CBS on Sunday, September 14th at 8 PM ET. The show will be hosted by the comedian Nate Bargatze

Severance is the year's most nominated show

While there's no way to predict who will end up winning come Emmy night, there were a few clear favorites. "Severance," the Apple TV series, is leading with 27 nominations. The series is followed by "The Penguin," which nabbed 24 nominations, followed by "The Studio" and "The White Lotus," with 23 nominations each. "The Studio" tied "The Bear" in the comedy section of the show, adding some welcome competition. 

Notable nominees include Martin Scorsese, the beloved director, who earned his first acting nomination for his appearance in "The Studio." His daughter, Francesca Scorsese, shared a photo of Scorsese's adorable reaction.
