Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven in the hit Netflix show, underwent a dramatic buzzed Mad Max-like haircut for her role.
In a post for Entertainment Weekly, the show’s creators Matt and Ross Duffer opened up about the dramatic cut writing, "When the day of the haircut finally arrived, Millie’s mom brought out a camcorder, while her dad ran away with tears in his eyes, unable to watch. It was a pretty dramatic scene. But also very quick. Within 10 minutes we had shaved it all off and slapped a fake “11” tattoo on Millie’s wrist. Millie looked at herself in the mirror, gave her best Furiosa scream — and Eleven was born."

Millie and her co-star Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers on the thrilling show, were admittedly the biggest pranksters on set. While answering Facebook Live questions the two confessed to pranking the show's creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer by pretending Millie was sick. The dynamic duo also played a trick on the costume designer by pretending to be the manager of her wedding venue and saying it was unavailable.

Prior to filming, the kids who came from all over, New York, Canada and the UK, formed a group chat on their phones and “incessantly” began texting each other. The show’s creators revealed to EW, “By the time they arrived in Atlanta, they were already a close-knit group.” [ Gaten Matarazzo, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McClaughlin and Finn Wolfhard]
