The past few months have been pure happiness for Nadia Ferreira and Marc Anthony, as the arrival of their daughter Myla has filled their home with even more love. Now that their family has grown, the couple recently made a special trip to South America so that the model’s loved ones in Paraguay could finally meet the baby. Back in the United States, the former beauty queen opened up about this meaningful trip while attending the Maestro Cares Foundation gala, led by her husband.

On the evening of November 4, Nadia and Marc stepped out at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City to take part in the annual charity gala. The Paraguayan model couldn’t hide how proud and excited she was to support her husband once again at this event for a cause.

“I feel very happy, very blessed to be here, to be able to see the work. It’s one more year of the work Marc and Henry (Cárdenas) have been doing, helping so many families, so many children for so many years. And I’m obviously very proud to be able to witness all of this,” Nadia told ¡HOLA! Américas about her husband’s philanthropic work. The Maestro Cares Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life for children and underserved communities in Latin America and the United States by providing housing, educational programs, and essential resources for their growth and development.

“Children and teenagers are the future, and the fact that we can contribute even a little grain of sand truly fills our hearts. It makes us very happy, and especially Marc, I know it makes him very happy,” Nadia shared.

When talking about how she has managed to balance motherhood with being a supportive wife who joins her husband on his constant travels, the Paraguayan beauty explained: “I think it’s important to find the perfect balance for everything. Obviously I took a big pause to enjoy my pregnancy, and right now I’m also enjoying time with my kids, and I also sneak away, like on this occasion, to be able to accompany Marc.”

Nadia, who, in addition to Myla, is mom to 2-year-old Marquito, also spoke about her recent trip to Paraguay, where her family finally got to meet her daughter. “I took my whole family, my kids too, we went to Paraguay. We took advantage of being in the Southern Cone and went to Paraguay so my family could meet my daughter Myla,” said the model, who shared a few snapshots from this unforgettable trip on social media.

For her big night out with Marc in New York City, Nadia Ferreira looked gorgeous and very elegant in a navy blue long-sleeve, high-neck gown with sparkle and embroidered details on the bodice. The skirt was voluminous and asymmetrical, and it featured a sexy slit up the leg. The model completed her look with black high-heeled sandals, a silver clutch, and dark earrings.

Nadia couldn’t hide her pride as she revealed that her incredible dress was created in her home country. “This was made in Paraguay, the designer’s name is Carlos Burró. I’m very happy to be able to wear something by a Paraguayan talent. As you know, I’m Paraguayan and very proud to show how much talent we have there,” the model said.

She doesn’t feel pressure to ‘bounce back’

Even though anyone would agree that just a little over three months after Myla’s birth, Nadia looks spectacular, she made it clear that getting her pre-baby body back is not something she’s focused on right now.

“I’m obsessed with food, so for me that’s not stressful. I think the body has its own process; it doesn’t matter much to me. Right now I’m really enjoying Myla; she’s breastfeeding so I keep eating and I don’t care about getting in shape. I’m simply enjoying my motherhood, my postpartum, enjoying my daughter and my son,” the model shared. “I also think that helps a bit because I have a toddler who has me running from here to there, so I think that plays a role too,” she added about her firstborn, Marquito.
