You look incredible. This has been a beautiful photoshoot. Congratulations on the baby. How are you?
Thank you. It’s always a pleasure for me to work with you and ¡HOLA!. I consider you family now. We’ve worked together so many times; you’ve been with me and supported me throughout this whole journey, both personally and professionally. And well, right now we’re here to announce my second pregnancy, which obviously has me very happy. We are very happy at home.
How was the moment you found out you were pregnant for the second time?
It’s something Marc and I wanted. We always wanted to have another baby, and obviously, our dream was for it to be a girl, and it happened. God gave us the blessing of expecting a girl. The first trimester for me was a little tough because I was very tired, unlike my first pregnancy. I told Marc that I know my body and I know when I’m about to get sick, and I didn’t feel like that, but I was so tired I couldn’t even function. He told me, “Maybe you’re low on vitamins, I don’t know, magnesium, iron.”
So I went to buy vitamins and realized I was a little late. And sure enough, that’s how we found out. That was a little before Christmas. I thought, “Should I surprise him on Christmas or tell him now?” I can’t hold onto surprises, so I told him. We were overjoyed, we screamed, we cried. A huge blessing for both of us. For the whole family.
Did you tell anyone else before Marc?
I told my mom. She was so happy. I said, “Mom, what do I do? I want to tell him, but I also want to surprise him.” Well, it was still a surprise, obviously, but I did tell him super fast. Within ten minutes of finding out, Marc already knew.

Marc is going through an incredible moment. What was his reaction to knowing he’d have his little princess?
Like I said, we’re on cloud nine. He is in a place where he’s really enjoying us, the family, and watching Marco grow. He’s even spending much more time at home. When I first started my relationship with him, we spent practically the whole year traveling; we weren’t here in Miami.
And well, we have the blessing, and I say this regarding Marco too, that we have him there present at home. So we are enjoying it very much. When he found out, when I gave him the news, he couldn’t believe it. We were so happy. And don’t even get me started on when we found out it was a girl!
This is your second pregnancy. Is it going more smoothly?
Well, there’s one big difference: when I was pregnant with Marco, I didn’t have a toddler who is also a total “mama’s boy.” I heard many myths, people told me that when you’re pregnant with a girl you have different discomforts, or nausea or things like that. Fortunately, that didn’t happen to me. What did happen, as I mentioned, was that I was very tired in the first trimester, very sleepy, I slept a lot.
But other than that, this has been a very beautiful pregnancy, and I think a lot of that is due to Marc. He has been great emotional support for me, he’s right there with me, we enjoy Marquito so much, and it’s been a very lovely experience once again.
How did it feel knowing God blessed you with the chance to have a girl?
I swear, I can’t believe it; it was my dream. I always wanted a boy first and God sent me my Marco, my Marquito. I said, well, I’ve always wanted a large family, at least two kids, and I wanted the boy first and then the girl. So truly, when we found out… I couldn’t believe it. They even made a surprise video for us where they asked all of my family and Marc’s family if they wanted a girl or a boy, and almost everyone said girl.
The only one who said boy was Marco. He says “baby brother,” but of course, he doesn’t know. Everyone else said girl. I know we were both just happy to have a healthy baby; that’s the most important thing to us. But when we found out it was a girl, you can’t imagine the happiness. We cried, honestly, we cried. Very happy, very blessed.
How did Marc take it when you found out a girl was on the way?
Well, he wanted a girl and so did I, and we found out right then. It was very special. We found out on New Year’s, December 31. Someone in my family had been given the news because my family was here in Miami for the holidays. They had given us the results right on December 31.
So we wanted to know right then what we were expecting, if it was a girl or a boy. I told them, please, come up with any kind of surprise. But we want to know now, once midnight passes, when it’s January 1, 2026, we want to know what we’re expecting. It was the best way to ring in the year, with Marquito there, the three of us together, when they gave us the surprise and we saw pink everywhere.

Now in your second pregnancy, is there anything in particular that worries you? Or are you more relaxed?
Well, I’m much more confident. I mean, I have experience now, and obviously I’m going to apply everything I learned with Marco and what I’m learning now. Perhaps the only thing that has me, I wouldn’t say worried, but curious, is seeing how Marquito will be when he actually meets his little sister. He is super excited; he comes over and kisses the baby and loves to sing. Marco is super sweet; he’s a very loving child.
Does he sing to the belly?
Yes, he loves “Los Pollitos Dicen,” for example, because that’s the song Marc also sings to me. He sang it to me when I was pregnant with Marco and now to my baby girl, and Marquito does the same; he’s very loving. But perhaps the only thing that worries me a little is seeing Marco with his sister and knowing that the attention will be divided. We make him part of everything.
Right now we’re doing the girl’s room and I make sure he is part of every moment. That’s also why I feel he’s so excited, which makes me very happy. We decorate the room and he’s there doing it with me, bringing over stuffed animals and decor items.
You’ve confessed and always said it: would you like to have a large family?
Look, God gave me the blessing of having a pair, my son and now being pregnant with a girl. So I’m happy, but if He wants to send me another one at some point, look, I was born to be a mom, I swear, I love it.
Saying you have the certainty you were born to be a mom is a big statement.
Yes, it truly is. I enjoy it so much; it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me, I swear. Since I got married, I created my own family, and since I became a mom, I consider myself a very maternal person, and it’s been my whole life.

Have you already chosen a name for the little one? Do you have options?
Yes, but you’ll find out when she’s born, I promise. You’ll be among the first to know. We both chose it. We had a couple of options and finally decided on one we both love.
Is it a name with a modern meaning or a classic name?
Both, modern and classic. You’ll see.
Do you have any clothes saved for her? Anything you want to pass down?
I have my wedding dress and I said, “Well, I’m going to save this dress for my daughter.” And I’ve said that for a long time without knowing I’d be a mother to a girl. By the time she gets married it’ll probably be outdated and she won’t even wear it, but it’ll be there.

Nadia: A Working Mom
Last year was glorious for you because you were able to work in a role you like very much, which is hosting. Tell me a bit about your professional plans now. When the baby is born, are you going to take your time or return immediately?
No, of course I’m going to give it the focus it needs, and the priority is obviously always my children, my family itself. That doesn’t mean I’m going to stop working. In fact, I’m still doing my things now. I’m working on other projects; I’m going to launch a new product, “Dama” (a perfume). I’m also now working with HQ Residences Miami. On the philanthropic side, I am deeply committed to my work as a board member for the Renací Foundation and as a global ambassador for the Maestro Cares Foundation.
Last year, with the support of both foundations, we managed to reopen the Wellness Center, providing early diagnosis and cancer treatment to children in Paraguay. It is an honor and a privilege to use my platform and my voice to support these important causes. I’m doing little things; it’s not like I’m stopping work. Because that is also part of who I am and my essence. And of course, when she is born, I will give all the necessary time to my two children, because I’m not going to leave Marco aside either. When the time comes, I’ll surely be doing things again.
You have an upcoming commitment with Forbes in Paraguay…
That’s right. I’m traveling in May and I’m very excited to go. Every time I have the chance to travel to my country, see my family, and eat Paraguayan food — which is delicious, by the way — it makes me very happy. And even more so when it’s something as important as Forbes. In fact, I just did the cover for them as well. It makes me very happy that they consider me one of the women who is changing Paraguay in one way or another.

'Behind The Scenes' with Nadia Ferreira
You’re part of this new generation of wonderful women who are famous, moms, active on social media, and have their own businesses. You’re a mom without giving up your dreams.
I truly hope to be an example. How can I put it? I started working at 13, so I’m used to being independent and fulfilling my dreams since I was very young. I have my short-term and long-term goals. On the personal side, one of my life dreams has always been to create a family. And I have it. I am blessed to have a wonderful family, an incredible husband who accompanies me, supports me, gets happy for my achievements and everything I do, and on top of that gives us all that love and affection.
I consider myself super lucky to be able to say I also have the opportunity to fully live my stage as a wife and mother, while at the same time continuing to fulfill my dreams and work on things I’m passionate about. And I’m not going to stop. I’m not going to stop because that’s who I am and that’s what makes me happy. And what I always say is that, in order to make my family and my husband happy, I have to be happy with myself. That’s why I always try to find balance and do all the things I set out to do and want.
Thinking of the young Nadia, who started with a health problem, who didn’t quite know where to go and found her path in different ways, like being a beauty queen, it seems like half the dream is fulfilled. Or is there still more to go?
No, definitely. I say it again: from a very young age I always set short-term and long-term goals, and I’ve already achieved many of them. But whenever I achieve something, I look for another way or something else to do to feel alive and continue working on my personal and professional growth.
So yes, I feel very proud of the young Nadia from 10 or 15 years ago, who went through a lot of difficult things, the health problems, and to be able to sit here and look back a bit at everything I’ve achieved now. I am truly very grateful. But it hasn’t been easy; it’s been a difficult road of hard work and many sacrifices, but it was worth it and I know it will continue to be worth it. I feel blessed.
I am… not 100%, but 200%. I am super present in everything he does. I accompany him in everything; I’m a mother hen, a Latina mom.
As a mother, the doubt sometimes arises about whether you did things right or if something is always missing. Does that guilt haunt you, or are you at peace in that sense?
Look, I believe motherhood is also a learning process, and you learn as your child grows, and I have learned so much. For me, the most important thing is that my children feel loved. I make sure Marco feels loved and protected, and that Mommy will always be there for him.
They say children are great teachers. What has Marquito taught you?
I’ve learned so much with Marco. I’ve discovered another side of myself that I didn’t know before being a mom. But to be more specific: patience.
Has Marc also worked on his own patience?
Totally. He is super devoted to us, to the family. He adores Marco. And I think that’s one of the things that has made me fall in love with him even more.

Ping-Pong with Nadia Ferreira
Has Marquito shown talent in anything yet?
Yes, well, he loves everything to do with music and rhythms. In fact, he has music classes and he’s fascinated by them. And another thing he loves is horses. He’s already taking classes, he’s riding, and he loves it. He has his little horse; he arrives, combs him, takes care of him, puts on his spray; he’s fascinated by it. That’s the direction he’s heading.
What is a piece of advice from your mother that you take into account now for motherhood?
Well, my mom is never wrong. I don’t know what it is. I tell her, “Mom, you’re a witch.” I tell her it can’t be that she tells me something, and then it suddenly happens. I don’t know, they have an intuition that is never wrong. And I realize that because it happens to me a lot with Marco, with certain little things I notice. A mom’s sixth sense is real, and it isn’t wrong.
How will you face the birth? Are you ready?
You always get nervous, between the excitement of meeting your baby and everything else. I remember that what calmed me down was a prayer I said before entering the room. I’m definitely going to do it again.
