Salma Hayek's only daughter, Valentina Paloma, turned 19 on September 21. Valentina keeps a low profile, so it was up to one of her closest friends to ensure she received an online shoutout. Bu Cuarón, the daughter of Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón, shared a set of photos taken over the years celebrating Valentina.

Another photo showed their more playful side, showing Valentina striking a silly pose with two friends. "My soul sister," wrote Bu.
A friendship two generations deep

They made sure to pass down that bond to their kids, with Valentina maintaining close bonds with Bu and her brother, Olmo Cuarón. They all grew up together, with the two families going on vacations together.
Hayek is also Bu's godmother.
Over the years, the girls have collected some memorable moments, like meeting Billie Eilish backstage at one of her concerts or walking the red carpet alongside Hayek at the 2023 Academy Awards.

Born September 21, 2007, in Los Angeles, Valentina is Hayek's only child with François-Henri Pinault. She's the youngest of his children. On her father's side, she has three older half-siblings. François Pinault Jr. and Mathilde Pinault are the kids born from Pinault's first marriage to Dorothée Lepère. Augustin James Pinault is François' son with the supermodel Linda Evangelista.
This summer was a memorable one for Valentina, granting her a new title. François Jr. and his wife, Countess Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, welcomed their first child, a boy named François, making her an aunt. The new baby has quickly become the center of the Pinault family.
