Ivanka Trump is making the most of her family vacation in Costa Rica. The businesswoman returned to the waves for another surfing session on August 23, appearing increasingly confident as she balanced on her board and rode toward the shore.
New photos from the tropical getaway captured Ivanka standing tall as the waves broke behind her. After completing one of her rides, the mother of three celebrated the moment by exchanging an enthusiastic high-five with her instructor in the water.
For the active outing, Ivanka wore a coordinated red, white and navy surf set featuring a cropped athletic top and matching high-waisted leggings. She kept her blond hair pulled back into a practical low ponytail and appeared to go makeup-free for the lesson.
The sporty ensemble was both functional and eye-catching, with its bold color-block design standing out against the blue-green water. Ivanka completed her surfing gear with an ankle leash attached to her green-trimmed soft-top longboard.
Making progress on the waves:
The 44-year-old appeared focused as she adjusted her stance and extended her arms to maintain her balance. Although one photograph showed her beginning to lose control of the board, other images captured her successfully remaining on her feet as she approached the shallower water.
Her instructor remained close throughout the session, offering guidance and carrying the board as they returned to shore. Their celebratory high-five suggested that Ivanka had reached another small milestone during the lesson.
The latest sighting comes as Ivanka continues enjoying an action-packed summer escape in Costa Rica with her family. Earlier photographs from the vacation showed her practicing on a bright blue longboard while wearing a white long-sleeved surf top and black high-waisted bikini bottoms.
During that session, she was seen riding the waves, flashing a shaka hand gesture, taking a tumble into the water and climbing back onto her board before eventually returning to shore with a smile.
An active family escape:
Ivanka has long embraced an active lifestyle, and her Costa Rican vacation has provided plenty of opportunities to combine exercise with time outdoors. Surfing requires balance, coordination and patience, but the latest images suggest she is becoming more comfortable with each attempt.
Rather than letting the occasional fall end her session, Ivanka continued returning to the board and trying again. Her persistence paid off, culminating in the cheerful high-five that captured the relaxed and adventurous spirit of her family getaway.
The trip has offered Ivanka a change of pace from her life in Florida, where she lives with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children, Arabella, Joseph and Theodore. While her family did not appear in these particular photographs, the surfing lesson marked another memorable moment from their summer vacation.
