Elizabeth Hurley has no plans to move to the US with her boyfriend Billy Ray Cyrus. The 61-year-old actress and the 64-year-old country singer are "very happy together", and they are also content with him living in Tennessee and her residing in Herefordshire, West Midlands, England.
Elizabeth told E! News, "We're really enjoying trying to get this balance between America and the UK. He's always been based in America - Tennessee, for the last 35 years or something."
The Austin Powers star feels she is similar to Billy, whom she has dated since early 2025, and went public with in April that year.
Elizabeth said, "The good thing is that he's very country where he is in Tennessee. "I’m very country where I am. And that's a really important thing in our relationship that neither of us want to be out and about."
Elizabeth on living with Billy Ray Cyrus
The model and the Achy Breaky Heart singer adore "snuggling up and doing a lot of things with nature".
Elizabeth added, "Nobody would look at either of us and think that's who we were, but we are. And I love it. I love gardening. He loves being outside in nature. We both love watching birds of prey. It's a really lovely life."
In an interview with Attitude magazine in October 2025, the brunette bombshell joked that she and Billy are in "constant danger of choking on hair balls".
Elizabeth declared the two-time Grammy winner as the "more romantic" partner, and is thoughtful when it comes to giving gifts. "He’s definitely more romantic than me; he spent the summer strumming his guitar under a tree, composing love songs as I strimmed and chainsawed around him."
Adding "But he gave me a giant tepee for my birthday, and we snuggle up in that, and it’s extremely romantic."
Billy is also a supportive boyfriend
Elizabeth told the Daily Mirror, "Billy and I have had most of the summer off. "We’ve seen both his daughters [Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus] play in London, which was great. He’s very supportive, and that feels nice.
"We’ve adopted two tortoises, and I have become something of a bird watcher. We’ve just seen some goshawks. They’re unbelievable. Very, very rare. There are only 1,000 nesting pairs in the UK." She joked, "I have a really interesting life. Wild. Parties every night."
How did Billy and Elizabeth meet?
Billy and Elizabeth met while filming the 2022 movie Christmas in Paradise, and they reconnected two years later following the breakdown of his marriage to singer Firerose.
Appearing on a 2025 episode of The Ty Bentli Show, the Some Gave All artist said, "We did very few scenes together, but the couple times we were in the same scene, there was a chemistry there. We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot."
"The oddest part was first, how much we laughed. Second, I figured we were so different, but in some very strange way we had way more in common than we had different.
"If all we ever were [is] the friends that we are, I would take that. She’s so impressively brilliant. She reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton. She’s a very smart businesswoman. If you can laugh together, you can make it through everything."
Elizabeth was supportive of Billy after the pain of his marriage breakdown. He added, "I felt like, 'Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher?' For me, at a certain point it was like, you can’t get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you."
"And in this moment ... a friend reached out ... Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most ...this friend who made me laugh."
Billy and Elizabeth's children
Billy adopted his ex-wife Tish Cyrus' daughter Brandi, 39, and son Trace, 37. As well as Miley, 33, and Noah, 26, they are also parents to a 32-year-old son named Braison.
