Brooklyn Beckham is spending some time with a key figure from his childhood. Despite taking a step back from his family, including his parents David and Victoria Beckham, and his siblings Cruz, Romeo, and Harper, Brooklyn recently made some time to hang out with his godfather, Elton John.
In photos taken in late July, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham were photographed enjoying their summer in the South of France. The pair were seen alongside Sir Elton John, with the group chatting aboard John's luxurious yacht.
Brooklyn wore a summer outfit made up of a white T-shirt, sunglasses, and denim shorts. Nicola wore a white and lacy sundress that she paired with her hair loose and some sunglasses.
Elton John was photographed wearing a colorful button-up shirt that he paired with pink sunglasses. He looked happy to be spending time with his godson, laughing at whatever the group was saying. He is the godfather of Brooklyn and his brother Romeo, enjoying a strong relationship with the boys' parents.
Through the outing, Brooklyn and Nicola looked happy and in love, sitting near each other and holding hands as they left the boat to go enjoy the beach and the activities in Nice.
The Peltz-Beckham vacation is taking place as Brooklyn's family enjoys themselves in Spain, where they are reportedly staying near Formentera. As reported by The Sun, Victoria, David, and their kids Romeo, Harper, and Cruz are vacationing together, likely with their partners, who tend to join them on family outings.
What have Brooklyn and his parents said regarding the feud
Earlier this year, Brooklyn made the feud with his parents public after sharing numerous stories on Instagram revealing that he didn't want to reconcile with his parents, and that he felt better and less anxious now that he's taken some distance from them.
David and Victoria have yet to address the rift publicly. In an interview with WSJ, Victoria said that she and David have "always tried to be the best parents we can be."
“And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
