Ricky Martin has been very busy this summer, traveling through several European cities as part of his tour. However, it hasn’t all been work for the Puerto Rican singer. In between professional commitments, he’s carved out time to enjoy himself with his kids.
Earlier this month, the Boricua star showed how much fun he was having with his little ones Lucía and Renn, and now he’s shared new photos of outings with them and their brother Matteo.
On July 20, Ricky shared a recap of the last few days with his greatest loves on Instagram. “Photo dump and there’s still more to come, my people,” he wrote as he introduced the album, which opened with a shot of himself taken mid-flight. “Kazakhstan here we are,” he added, revealing the destination of that trip.
The Puerto Rican artist, who performed in the Kazakh city of Almaty on July 18, made the most of his time in the country by sightseeing with his family. His album included a fun selfie with his 17-year-old son Matteo, taken at Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama’s exhibition at the Almaty Museum of Arts. While there, Ricky and his kids also admired the monumental steel sculptures by American artist Richard Serra.
In his post, Ricky also shared a few glimpses of his visit to Turkey, where he recently performed in concert as well. “Culture for the kiddos,” he wrote next to a sweet photo of himself walking hand in hand with little Lucía and Renn in front of the Nuruosmaniye Gate of Istanbul’s famous Grand Bazaar. The singer made the most of his time in Turkey and even got some henna tattoos, as he showed in another of the snaps.
While Matteo and his younger siblings appeared in several photos with their famous dad, Valentino was missed, as he was noticeably absent from the album. It’s not clear whether he didn’t join the trip or simply didn’t make it into any of the shots, but one thing’s for sure: his famous dad had him in mind the whole time. Proof of that is the special accessory the Boricua star wore in honor of his four kids: a pearl necklace with gold charms bearing the initials of each of their names.
On July 11, Ricky had already shared a sneak peek of his visit to Turkey, where he had a concert scheduled in Istanbul that same day. “The arrival and a quick little escape around the city. Concert tonight in Istanbul,” he wrote alongside a video showing his arrival in the city with his kids and part of their sightseeing before the show.
While in Spain, Ricky Martin gets ready for his twins’ birthday
After posting photos of his time in Turkey and Kazakhstan with his kids, Ricky Martin revealed on his Instagram Stories that he had arrived in Spain. As part of his Ricky Martin Live 2026 tour, the Puerto Rican star will perform on July 24 in the city of Huelva. However, it wouldn’t be surprising if his early arrival in the “Motherland” also has a bit of sightseeing on the agenda.
The Puerto Rican artist may very well have chosen Spain as the place to kick off celebrations for the upcoming birthday of his sons Valentino and Matteo. The twins, who have clearly inherited their father’s good looks and charisma, turn 18 on August 6, an occasion Ricky will surely celebrate in a big way.
“They’re with me all the time. I go on tour and they come with me because we have tutors who travel with us. After the pandemic, Zoom really made things so much easier,” the singer shared in 2024 on Despierta América (Univision), speaking about the close bond he has with his older kids.
