Lauren Sanchez Bezos doesn't step back from a challenge, especially if it relates to the Earth. In a new post shared on Instagram, the TV personality and businesswoman shared some of her experience while scuba diving in Fiji, a region that contains some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet.

As a part of the Bezos Earth Fund, Sanchez Bezos is deeply involved with initiatives that aim to preserve the health of these environments. In a new post on Instagram, she shared a look at her most recent diving trip.
In the photos, she's seen wearing a white bathing suit and swimming in the stunning reefs of Fiji, sharing photos and videos of the animals that surrounded her, including a photo of herself looking at a striking Moorish idol, a type of fish known for its black, white, and yellow stripes.
"I had to see it for myself," Sanchez Bezos captioned the post. "These reefs in Fiji are some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. And what’s underneath this water is extraordinary. Schools of fish. Sea turtles. Reef sharks. An entire world."

"These waters also support communities, livelihoods, and traditions. That’s exactly why the Bezos Earth Fund is helping protect it. We’re helping local communities in Fiji care for these waters, and supporting the goal to protect and sustainably manage 30% of the ocean," Sanchez Bezos continued.
"Protecting the ocean is about ensuring the marine life thrives and supporting the people who depend on it every day, safeguarding a way of life that has endured for generations. It’s about protecting both the life beneath the surface and the communities that call these waters home. The ocean keeps our planet alive. It’s worth protecting."

Lauren Sanchez Bezos is known for her hobbies and practices, among them piloting helicopters and visiting outer space.
She's opened up about her love of flying in the past. “I want to be in a helicopter all the time,” she said to The Hollywood Reporter in 2017. “Life can be so chaotic with so much going on. Lift off, and you’re in an energy space that no one else is in. It’s calming. When I’m up there, I’m completely satisfied. I’m like, ‘This is where I need to be.’”
