Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's New York City wedding may have been confirmed by the Big Apple's mayor, Zohran Mamdani.

Details of the pop megastar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end's nuptials are being kept under wraps - though rumors suggest they have splashed out $3 million dollars to rent out Madison Square Garden for their three-day celebration this upcoming weekend.

Plus, Mayor Mamdani seemingly backed up the reports during a press conference a few weeks ago- discussing security measures for the USA, Canada, and Mexico-hosted FIFA World Cup 2026, which kicked off on June 11 and ends on July 19th.

Per Page Six, he said, "I am fully confident in the work of the NYPD, as well as our state partners, in delivering that safe experience. We are the biggest city in the country. We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for this one.

"We know it coincides with the Knicks’ [NBA] Finals run. We know it coincides with July 4th, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding - all happening at the same time - and we are so excited to welcome the world here."

Who is attending Taylor and Travis wedding?

Big Little Lies' Zoe Kravitz, 37, Only Murders in the Building star Selena Gomez, 33, Castle on the Hill hitmaker Ed Sheeran, 35, and supermodel Karlie Kloss, 33, are some of the names who have reportedly bagged invites to Taylor and Travis' nuptials.

However, Mayor Mamdani told a reporter he does not expect to join them when asked if he was attending. The politician said: "No and no." Referring to Taylor's 2020 hit, he added, "I wish them a lovely wedding. I’ll listen to Only the Young at home on my own."

Consequences if the details of Taylor and Travis' big day are spilled

In January, chat show host Graham Norton, 63, revealed he is on the guest list for Taylor and Travis' wedding, and was required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) about the ceremony.

Speaking on his own Wanging On podcast, he teased, "Ah, lovely Taylor Swift. I can say nothing. I've signed so many NDAs."

Graham's co-host Maria McErlane, 68, replied, "That is very, very exciting," before she joked: "And I'm very much looking forward to coming with you." But Graham - who has been married to filmmaker-and-director Jonathan 'Jono' McLeod - quipped, "Right, over my husband's dead body."

Taylor and Travis' engagement

Taylor and Travis, both 36, got engaged in August 2025 after two years of dating.

According to the sports star's dad, Ed Kelce, 74, his son popped the question in Travis' home garden - which had a beautiful floral arrangement - almost two weeks after they made their engagement news public on August 26th.
