Khloé Kardashian surprised everyone after welcoming her ex, Tristan Thompson, to the May 28 episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land. The 41-year-old reality star sat down with the father of her kids and revealed that Thompson, 35, underwent a vasectomy after what she described as a firm push from her.
Even though he went under the knife, Kardashian asked the NBA player whether he still wanted more children in the future. “Do you wanna have more kids in the future?” the Good American founder asked.
© Khloé KardashianThompson responded with a surprising confession, explaining that he has no plans to expand his family unless it somehow involves Kardashian. “I think I signed off for two embryos,” Thompson said. “So, I mean, if I do have more kids, it'd be coming from you. I already have enough baby moms. Don't want no more.”
The former couple share daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 2. Thompson is also father to son Prince, 9, whom he shares with ex Jordan Craig, and son Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols.
Kardashian then revealed that she played a major role in Thompson’s vasectomy decision. “And who helped you fix that decision? That was me,” Kardashian said, before adding, “Tristan may have had a little ultimatum from me.”
Thompson joked about the procedure during the episode, replying, “What? Getting neutered? Sometimes you gotta lay them nuts on the table.” While laughing through the conversation, Thompson admitted he was resistant at first. “I've been a little hardheaded at times,” he said. “I wish I wasn't as stubborn.”
© Khloé KardashianStill, the former Cleveland Cavaliers star acknowledged that Kardashian may have been right to pressure him into making the choice. “Sometimes you have to get forced into the right decision,” Thompson added.
Kardashian also shared that they planned ahead before the procedure by freezing sperm in case Thompson changes his mind later in life. “We saved sperm because I said, ‘What if you get married and your wife doesn't have kids, and you wanna do that?’” Kardashian explained. “So we did that. Because you could also reverse it.”

Kardashian and Thompson called it quits in 2021. Their breakup came shortly before news surfaced that Thompson was expecting a child with Nichols. At the time, sources confirmed Kardashian and Thompson were still romantically involved when Theo was conceived.
Despite the public fallout, the pair later welcomed their second child together via surrogate. In July 2022, Kardashian’s representative confirmed the former couple was expecting another baby, and son Tatum was born later that month.

In February, the reality TV star and entrepreneur revealed that she would love to give her daughter, True, a sister. During another episode of her podcast “Khloé in Wonderland,” Kardashian spoke candidly about motherhood and the possibility of having a third child.
In a conversation with Ashley Sandmire, the two covered everything from childhood traditions to love lives and parenting dynamics. “I don’t know if I have a bandwidth for the third. And I’m also not married and I want to be married to have more kids," she said.
