Paris Jackson is listening to what people are telling her. The musician and actress recently shared on her Instagram stories that she sought medical help after receiving the same comment from various of her followers.
In a recent Instagram story, Jackson shared a selfie of herself receiving an ultrasound. The image shows her neck and her face, with a doctor conducting the ultrasound on her neck.
"Getting an ultrasound to check out my lymphs since y'all pointed out how weird my neck looked on my last post," she wrote over the image.
Jackson followed up the story with a video, providing further explanation. “A bunch of people pointed out that my neck looks f---ing weird in the last video that I posted," she wrote. "So I’m, like, freaking out. Like, ‘Oh, that is weird, crazy.’ I have someone come to my rehearsal studio and do an ultrasound on my throat."
Thankfully, she revealed that everything is normal in her exams. "My neck just does weird s--- when I talk," she said. “I think this is just my neck, and y'all are freaking me out, thinking there's something wrong."
Jackson revealed that her singing and rehearsals have been affecting the muscles in her neck. “The reason my neck looks as weird as it does is just because I have exercised those muscles from singing for so long, and that just happens with singers. It's just more obvious in me because I am skinny,” she said.
Jackson prepares for the release of her next album
Over the past couple of months, Jackson has revealed that she's preparing for the release of "Teenage Drama," her new album. The record is coming out on Friday, May 22nd, and explores her experiences as a teenager and all of the embarrassing memories she has during that pivotal point in her life.
Jackson has shared numerous clips on her social media, discussing her experience as a teenager, including crushes and the type of girl she used to be while in school.
"I was not a terrible student in the sense that there was a lot of bad behavior. I didn't get bad grades but I didn't listen to the uniform rules. I'd get a lot of uniform violations," she said. "I kept wearing my combat boots and ripped leggings, and sometimes dyed hair. And sometimes a sweater over my uniform, which was also not allowed."
