Harper Beckham may only be 14, but according to Victoria Beckham, she’s already dreaming up her own skincare and beauty empire - and of getting a perm.

During an appearance on the “Aspire with Emma Grede” podcast, Victoria said her daughter is already showing major ambition. “Harper is going to be 15 pretty soon. And I cannot believe it,” she shared. “I’m so proud of all of the children, but, you know, Harper, she’s very ambitious. She’s got big dreams.”

She revealed that Harper, who turns 15 in July, recently pitched her an entire beauty brand concept after struggling with acne and not finding products that worked for her skin. “She said, ‘I really want to create a brand because I know what I want, what I can’t find, and I don’t want other people to have to go through what I have been through,’” Victoria shared.

Harper apparently came fully prepared. “She came to me with a little PowerPoint presentation,” Victoria said. “She had two PowerPoint presentations. One about this brand that she wanted to create because she was struggling with her skin, and the other one was a reason as to why I should let her have a perm.”

Victoria joked, “We put the perm conversation to one side,” before explaining that Harper’s pitch genuinely impressed her because “she really had a point of view.”

“She really could not find what she wanted that would be kind for her skin, which was acne-prone,” Victoria explained. “And she said, ‘So I want to create that.’”

The idea may not be so surprising, considering Harper has basically grown up around beauty development. “She’s been sitting on my lap, taking part in beauty development meetings ever since she was little,” Victoria said, later adding that Harper has even “helped me select colors sometimes” while working on product palettes.

The former Spice Girls member also got candid about the balancing act of motherhood and running a business empire, admitting there are moments where work pulls her away from family milestones. “Harper had a school play the other day and, you know, I was outside… watching the school production through the window because I had deadlines,” she admitted. “There were things that I had to do, and I tried to do the best that I could.”

Still, one recent moment between mother and daughter clearly stuck with her. Victoria revealed Harper had recently been asked at school to write about someone who inspires her, and she chose her mom. “It was the sweetest thing when you see her actually write your name and say you,” Victoria said.

“I felt so proud because… I have not been at everything… but the fact that she looks at me and finds it inspiring and recognizes that we have a great relationship,” she continued. “I’ve been the best mom, but then I’ve also followed my dreams and passions, and that is now what she wants to do.”

As for whether Harper’s skincare dreams could actually turn into a real business? Victoria teased, “I think she probably will.”
