Kai Trump is getting ready for one of the biggest moments of her life. The senior high school student and granddaughter of Donald Trump is taking part in a TikTok trend, giving her room a college makeover as she prepares to start school in the fall.
© @kaitrumpIn photos shared on her Instagram, Kai shared a look at her University of Miami-themed bedroom. The images show her, her mother Vanessa Trump, and her best friend smiling and celebrating as the bedroom is cloaked in the school's famous orange and green colors.
Kai wears jeans and a green tank top and smiles as she sits atop her bed, covered in UM merch, including blankets, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and the like. In the backdrop of the image, there's a large and orange UM flag, with the logo of the university in the middle.

She concluded the post with a photo alongside her close friends, with all of them wearing University of Miami gear and smiling for the camera.
"Bed Party SZN," she captioned the post, adding orange and green heart emojis.
The Bed Party trend is a TikTok phenomenon embraced by young people preparing to start their freshman year. In it, they decorate their dorm room or their own bedroom with their future university's colors and gear, celebrating their college commitment.

In August of 2024, Kai Trump revealed that she had a verbal commitment with the University of Miami, where she'll be pursuing her career as an athlete and golfer.
"I would also like to thank my entire family for always encouraging and pushing me to be the best person I can possibly be. I would like to thank my friends for always cheering me on. Last but not least I would love to thank Coach Janice and Coach Jim for giving me this opportunity. I am super excited to be a cane and represent the University of Miami. Gooo Canes!" she wrote at the time.
The University of Miami's Fall semester for this year is scheduled to start in August, with freshmen students beginning their orientation and move-in activities.
