Khloe Kardashian has been known to give the men in her life a lot of grace, but when it comes to Lamar Odom, he is officially out. After she appeared on his documentary, Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, the reality star was shocked to see some of the things he said, and she called him out on her podcast a couple of weeks after it premiered.
In a recent episode, Koko sat down with her mom, Kris Jenner, who asked if she had heard from Odom, “I would feel bad about those comments if I were him. And you would think he would reach out and say, ‘Hey, I'm really sorry,'" the momager said.
Koko confirmed that she hadn't heard from him, adding that she thinks he's "been doubling down." She said her brother Rob Kardashian had sent her a clip where Odom was saying "something along the lines of, 'Yeah, that marriage made me more popular in the social media world, but other than that."
In a heartbreaking admission, Koko said he clearly doesn't care about her, but she's surprised to see that he's ready to lose the family. "I would think he would be devastated to lose you, my sisters, Rob, like just thinking how you guys would view him cuz he's always been very sensitive about that," the mother of 3 continued.
"But me, he was playing me from the beginning of the dock. It's not like he was only doing bad press about me. He sat down and gave bad interviews about me in the documentary," she said. "So that's where I'm like, you asked me to be a part of something, and I willingly did so, and you're just like talking about me."
Khloe then made it clear, it's over. "But we're not talking to him anymore," she said. "The bridge is burned, and I have no more rope left to throw over. Period."
In the documentary, Odom admitted that he was drawn to Koko because of the Kardashian lifestyle. “I’m watching how she lives and their lifestyle,” he says in the doc. “I’m like, ‘This is how I want to live.’”
Firing back, the Good American founder told Malika Haqq, “You’re sitting on camera saying you married me for fame?… I feel so dumb. I spent hours doing this documentary as a favor."
Then, after the documentary's release, during an appearance on the Today show on April 6, Odom called his reunion with Khloe for the documentary "awkward," saying, "it wasn’t really good for me."
He also seemed to undercut Koko's part in his recovery, saying while she helped save his life in "some ways," "God took care of me the most, and what I came back from was like a medical miracle."
