Matthew McConaughey rarely leaves his family behind while attending charity galas. On his latest public appearance, he took all three of his children and wife Camila Alves to the 2026 Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala in Austin, Texas.
The Oscar winner, 56, stepped out at ACL Live at the Moody Theater alongside Levi, 17, Vida, 16, and Livingston, 13, giving fans the first look at the couple with their now all-teenage kids.
The annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala, now in its 14th year, has become one of Texas’ most notable philanthropic events, blending music, fashion, and golf to raise money for children’s causes.
McConaughey looked classic in a dark tailored suit paired with a crisp white shirt worn open at the collar. The actor skipped the tie to maintain his signature laid-back polish. Alves brought old Hollywood glamour in a sleek black sleeveless gown, elevated with black heels and gold jewelry.
Levi, the eldest at 17, appeared confident beside his parents. Vida, now 16, brought understated elegance, while 13-year-old Livingston rounded out the special red carpet moment.
The appearance also highlighted how McConaughey and Alves’ children are no longer little kids. McConaughey took to Instagram to share gratitude and spotlight Jelly Roll, who headlined the gala. “A huge thank you to @jellyroll615 for headlining the 14th annual MJ&M Gala! Your incredible energy lit up the room and inspired everyone,” he wrote.
Alves also reflected on the impact of the weekend. The Brazilian model and designer described the multi-day festivities as filled with “amazing music, fashion, golf and more,” all supporting causes focused on changing and saving children’s lives.
That philanthropic focus has long been central to the couple’s public identity. The Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala, co-founded by McConaughey alongside Jack Ingram and Mack Brown, has raised millions for youth-focused nonprofits over the years.
It is also part of the actor’s advocacy, education, and civic engagement. There was also symbolism in seeing the teens join their parents at an event rooted in giving back. The couple might be suggesting they are the next generation absorbing the philanthropic values McConaughey and Alves have championed for years.
Social media reactions also centered on how much Levi looks like his father, while others noted Vida carries features of her mom.
