Jennifer Garner rings in her 54th birthday with Fin during a flowers-and-sweets outing

Jennifer Garner is celebrating her 54th birthday! The beloved actress and producer was photographed in Santa Barbara, picking up some birthday provisions alongside a friend and her child, Fin Affleck.

In photos shared over the weekend, Garner and Fin were spotted carrying some bags containing flowers and desserts from Cosetta, a famous bakery of the area. The two were dressed simply and stylish for the occasion. 

Garner wore some baggy jeans, running shoes, a striped t-shirt, and a blue sweater. She completed the look with very little makeup and her hair held up in a ponytail. 

Fin wore a fun and colorful outfit made up of jeans with a colorful flare on the side, sneakers, a green t-shirt, and a brown jacket. They completed the look with some reading glasses and their brown hair styled short and parted in the middle. 

The two were also photographed laughing and chatting, with paparazzi capturing the sweet moment between them.

Garner's timeless beauty advice

Over the years, Jennifer Garner has stayed a beloved figure in the world of Hollywood, with followers loving her work and her sincere and positive personality. 

As someone who's spent years under the spotlight and has raised kids under the glare of the media, she's known for doling out helpful advice.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Garner shared her best beauty advice. “My beauty advice is always the same: Look in the mirror less, obsess less, and look at the rest of the world to see what you could be using your time for instead,” she said. “We all look at our faces more than people used to, and it doesn’t do you any good. You obsess over changes or how to fix something on your face.”

On that same interview, she also shared some important wisdom when it comes to Botox and any sort of injections. "Be cautious when it comes to injecting anything into your face. Be very, very incredibly judicious and wait as absolutely long as possible to add anything," she said. "Don’t think that you’re 37 and you need to be shooting up your face. You don’t need to wear so much makeup or have such a constant blowout."
