Heidi Klum went all out for her son's 21st birthday.

The supermodel surprised her son Henry with a bright red Ferrari F430 on Saturday, and his reaction made it clear he was not expecting to see a luxury sports car waiting for him.

Klum, 53, documented the big reveal on Instagram, sharing a video of Henry being led outside by his stepfather, Tom Kaulitz, where his very expensive birthday present was parked.

Henry Had No Idea What Was Coming

In the video, Klum stood beside the Ferrari as Kaulitz walked Henry toward the surprise.

“I can't believe it is that time. You've been waiting for so many years,” Klum told her son.

Once Henry spotted the Ferrari, he was understandably stunned.

“Oh my God! Jesus Christ. I don't even know what to say,” he exclaimed.

The Ferrari F430 can cost well into the six figures, with the average price hovering around $200,000 depending on the model and condition. So yeah, this wasn't exactly a birthday card and a gift certificate situation.

Tom Kaulitz Had Been Keeping a BIG Secret

As it turns out, the Ferrari wasn't a totally random gift. Kaulitz had apparently made a deal with Henry years ago and actually followed through.

The couple explained that the two had made a video game bet when Henry was a teenager. Kaulitz said he bought the Ferrari at a car show “last year” and then kept the entire purchase hidden in their garage until Henry's 21st birthday.

Klum couldn't help pointing out that her husband had actually kept his word.

“He kept his promise,” she said. “Literally, it's what? Seven years ago when you guys said that?”

Klum later shared another clip explaining exactly how the bet came about.

It All Started With Mario Kart

According to Henry, the deal was made during a Christmas gaming session.

“It's happening on Christmas, and if I lose Mario Kart, then I can't play video games for three months, and I have to do a painting of me driving,” he recalled in the throwback clip.

“But if I win, then Tom has to give me a Ferrari when I'm 21.”

Well, Henry apparently won, and Kaulitz clearly wasn't about to let a seven-year-old promise disappear into the family archives.

Heidi Celebrated Her Birthday Boy

Klum also marked the milestone with a sweet throwback photo of all four of her children as little kids.

In the black-and-white snapshot, Leni, Henry, Johan, and Lou wore birthday hats and smiled at one another.

“Henry WOW. Time flies. We love you sooooooo much. Happy 21 Birthday,” Klum wrote alongside several red heart emojis.

She also gave fans a peek at the birthday festivities on her Instagram Stories, including a clip of Henry enjoying his “first legal drink.”

Another video, shared by Leni, showed Henry blowing out the candles on his birthday cake while celebrating with family.

Henry Says His Parents Inspire His Style

Henry has also opened up about his close relationship with his parents and the influence they've had on him.

At the 2025 American Music Awards, he praised Klum and Kaulitz for always supporting him and called them an “inspiration.”

“Anything that I do, [my parents are] always so supportive,” he said.

Klum has been just as vocal about how proud she is of Henry and all of her children.

Henry previously told People that his parents also encouraged him to experiment with his personal style instead of worrying about fitting into a particular mold.

“When I was growing up, I was always evolving with my style and just figuring out my own look or just how I feel in different clothing, but that evolved over time,” he explained.

He said his parents encouraged him to wear whatever made him feel confident and powerful.

And apparently, when it comes to birthday gifts, they also believe in making good on a seven-year-old Mario Kart bet.
