Chris Evans and Alba Baptista surprise at Oscars after-party in first appearance since baby

Chris Evans and Alba Baptista had a memorable Oscars Sunday. The couple, who got married almost three years ago, made their Oscars debut while also attending an Oscars after-party, showcasing some stunning outfits. It also marked a rare appearance for the couple following the birth of their daughter.

Evans was one of the evening's presenters, with Baptista understandably accompanying him to the show. For the Oscars, the two opted for matching cream and black colors. Baptista wore a cream and shimmery gown with details in the torso, showcasing a sleeveless gown. Her hair was long and curled, complementing the look with some jewelry. 

Evans wore a double-breasted Giorgio Armani tux, pairing the suit with a white button-up and a black bow tie. He completed the look with some dark sunglasses.

For the after-party, Evans swapped the sunglasses for reading glasses, while Baptista opted for a completely different dress. She wore a shimmery and sparkly red gown with a sweetheart neckline. She complemented the look with jewelry, including some long diamond earrings. In 2024, Evans and Baptista attended their first Oscars after-party together, taking photos on the red carpet in one of their most notorious appearances.

In October of last year, Evans and Baptista welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Alma. "They’re enjoying their privacy and these special first few days as a family with their baby," said a source at the time to PEOPLE.

According to the insider, Evans is "completely in awe of his daughter." "He's been soaking in every quiet moment and couldn't be more proud to be a girl dad."

While the pair prefers to keep their relationship and family away from the public eye, in June of last year, Evans opened up about married life. “We’re laying low,” he said. “We're enjoying our time, just relaxing."

Evans and Baptista got married in 2023, in a ceremony hosted in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, attended by some of Evans' most notorious co-stars, including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, and his wife, Elsa Pataky, and more.
