Rumors of an upcoming wedding between Tini Stoessel and Rodrigo De Paul have grown after the couple posted some romantic photos over the summer. Fan speculation suggests the couple could have a small civil ceremony this December, followed by a larger celebration with family and friends in 2026.
The whispers began when Tini and Rodrigo shared photos from a romantic dinner on a beach in Ibiza, even if neither appeared together. The candlelit setting and rose petals hinted at a reconciliation for the couple, who reunited in 2025. Fans also pointed to snapshots where Tini seemed to hide a ring under her sweatshirt — a theory that surfaced years earlier when she wore a $67,000 ring before their 2023 breakup.
Weeks later, Stoessel publicly supported Rodrigo at his official presentation as Inter Miami’s newest player, marking the end of his time in Spain after four seasons with Atlético de Madrid.
Many believed his decision was influenced by the desire to be closer to her. The couple has been searching for stability amid their hectic careers, and Rodrigo reportedly bought a house in Miami, where they are expected to live after their wedding. Despite Tini’s upcoming 2026 world tour, she spends much of her time working in Miami. These steps reflect a search for balance they struggled to find earlier, leading to their 2023 split, which they announced “with absolute respect and love.”
A look back through their relationship
To understand their story, it’s important to go back to the beginning. Much of their relationship unfolded publicly through events and Instagram posts, but Tini also left emotional clues in her music.
Even though their romance began in 2021, Tini explored it musically with her album "Cupido." One standout track, “7 veces,” reflects a love that starts at the wrong time and at a distance — mirroring their long-distance dynamic, with Rodrigo in Europe and Tini between Buenos Aires and her tours.
Their relationship quickly became a public talking point. Early controversy surrounded the timing of Rodrigo’s separation from his ex-wife, model Camila Homs, with whom he had recently welcomed a second child. Many assumed he had been unfaithful, placing Tini at the center of scrutiny during the first months of their relationship.
Despite the turbulence, Tini and Rodrigo continued to spend time with each other, supporting each other whenever they could. When Tini needed him at her concerts, he crossed continents to be there. She reciprocated, becoming his emotional anchor during the 2022 World Cup, celebrating Argentina’s victory by his side.
But the relentless speculation — much of it targeting Tini — marked their early years together. She chose to remain silent and focus on her career until 2023, when they announced their breakup “with absolute respect and love.”
Tini explored her most private feelings in her last record
This marked one of the artist’s darkest periods, at least in her music. Tini fell into depression and began writing to process everything she had endured. From that came her most personal album, "Un mechón de pelo" (2024), in which she shared her experience with her mental health openly for the first time.
With the release of “Ni de ti,” Tini finally told her side of the story. The song opens with: “Dicen que robé, que una familia rompí” (“They say I stole, that I broke a family”), directly addressing the accusations that she faced since 2021. She sings about choosing silence to protect Rodrigo’s children and her own family, and insists that although she was widely criticized, she was also supported.
The song — and others on the album — features real audio clips from conversations with her grandmother and friends, encouraging her as she navigated pain far from home. Later, she calls out the media and people who, in her words, thrived on “absurd lies,” reclaiming control of her own story.
Tini, who has been performing since she was 14, always turned to the studio to express what she was living. Reflecting a later chapter in their on-and-off relationship, she wrote “El cielo,” released in 2024.
If “7 veces” captures the rush of falling in love and “Ni de ti” the noise of public scrutiny, “El cielo” is widely seen as her most honest farewell. She confesses: “Ojalá siguiera enamorada de vos” (“I wish I were still in love with you”), a simple line that encapsulates the song’s emotional core. She recognizes the beauty and the failure of the relationship, but accepts that it ultimately couldn’t work.
“Fue querer tocar el cielo, y el cielo se cayó” (“It was wanting to touch the sky, and the sky fell”), she sings, embracing the end.
Now, in 2025, the couple has reunited and given their love another chance. Although Tini hasn’t released a new album, many believe new songs will arrive in the coming year, likely reflecting a sweeter chapter built on healing and a shared future with her partner.
