Josh Lucas marries meteorologist Brianna Ruffalo in 'dream wedding' inside the Vatican

Josh Lucas is officially off the market!

The Sweet Home Alabama actor, 54, announced on Friday, July 18, that he and meteorologist Brianna Ruffalo tied the knot in a “dream” ceremony held inside the Vatican — an unforgettable moment for the couple.

Lucas revealed the big news via Instagram, sharing a series of black-and-white photos tagged in Vatican City. The romantic snapshots show the couple gazing into each other’s eyes, sharing a kiss, and walking hand in hand as newlyweds. Ruffalo looked radiant in a white gown with delicate lace detailing and a matching veil, while Lucas, known for his role in Yellowstone, wore a classic black suit for the special occasion.

On Saturday, July 19, Lucas followed up with two more photos from the celebration, expressing his gratitude to those who helped bring their dream wedding to life.

"A huge thank you to deeply talented @caterinaerrani_photography & to @weddings_italy @paolo_nassi @JinaneKafrouny @sena_wedding_world who helped make the dream of wedding in the #vatican come true," he wrote. "Many many people to thank for this to come."

Ruffalo also posted several images from the ceremony on July 18, captioning them with a heartfelt announcement: “Mr. and Mrs.”

“Incredibly blessed to receive this sacrament together inside the heart of the Catholic Church and holy city,” she shared.

Lucas, who shares a 15-year-old son, Noah Rev, with ex Jessica Ciencin Henriquez, had previously revealed that he proposed to Ruffalo in June 2024. At the time, he posted a video capturing Ruffalo’s emotional reaction moments after she said yes.

The proposal appeared to take place at a restaurant, with a band performing an acoustic rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Lucas also shared a close-up of the sparkling engagement ring.

“For the last 2 years in Every Way and Every Day this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper, and more whole,” he wrote in the caption. “I am so grateful and thrilled she said ‘Yes.’ I WAY love you Brianna. & Thank You to our families and all the people and places that made this come true. I am absolutely aware I got crazy lucky.”
