Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas' kids have officially graduated from college. The parents, who share kids Dylan and Carys, have just celebrated Carys' graduation from Brown University over the weekend, inviting their family over for the special occasion.
Carys' graduation took place on Sunday, with her parents sharing photos and videos of the special moment. Zeta-Jones shared a photo of Carys throwing a kiss to the camera as her parents kissed her cheeks, writing, “The night before graduation!!!! We are both such proud parents right now!! It’s only just begun!!”
The photo shows Carys dressed up for the occasion in a white long dress, with Douglas wearing a navy suit with a light blue button-up, and Zeta-Jones opting for all black.
More photos shared by Zeta-Jones showed Carys crying as she excitedly hugged her mother. "Simply the best," Zeta-Jones wrote over the post.
Douglas' perspective
Michael Douglas shared a video showing his perspective of his daughter's graduation. In it, he revealed that the graduation served as the perfect opportunity for a family reunion, sharing footage of his relatives and Carys getting ready for the big moment, interspersed with moments of Douglas addressing the camera.
"Graduation time!" says Douglas in the video. As he speaks to the camera, he then turns it on Carys, who's then seen walking around the house in her black graduation robe and matching graduation cap.
Another moment shows Douglas and the family walking towards the school. As he records Carys, he begins humming the graduation tune, prompting a laugh from her. Zeta-Jones is then seen trailing behind her daughter, snapping some photos on a DSLR camera.
Douglas turns the camera on himself. "Family reunion," he says. "Graduation!"
Carys Douglas graduated from Brown University with a degree in Film and International Relations. She follows in her older brother Dylan's footsteps, who graduated from the same school in 2022. Despite the fact that both kids decided to pursue a college career, they appear to be interested in acting and are following in their parents' footsteps.
