"What's the best gift you ever got for Christmas when you were a kid?" the host asked during his talk show. "That's a great question," George responded, quickly revealing that his parents bought him a bicycle. "I had been asking for a long time for a bicycle," he said, admitting that he had some issues putting it together."

"It came in a box that you had to put together, and I never actually got it completely put together]," he continued. "You were in charge of assembling it yourself?" the host asked, to which George revealed that he was only 4 years old at the time.

"I loved it. I would dress it up because this is the 70s," he said, explaining that despite not being fully put together, he still used it all the time. The actor has two children with his wife Amal Clooney, twins Alexander and Ella, and the couple are making new memories together as a family.

"Look, I've got problems already, which is I'm desperately trying not to make them little Brits," he joked about the British language and the difference in slang and words with American English. "It's not a jumper, it's a sweater. It's not a boot, it's the trunk. It's the pavement, it's the sidewalk..."

"I've done everything to change their version to speak with an English accent so they were writing out their note," he explained about their tradition. "I said, 'So then we're going to leave them cookies, and my son goes, 'No, it's milk and a mince pie.'"
