Brad Pitt is reportedly asking two of his kids to spend his 61st birthday with him; 'It is very tricky'

Brad Pitt will soon be celebrating his 61st birthday. One of his wishes is to reconnect with his children, with whom he's been out of touch for the past year.

According to The Daily Mail, Pitt has been "begging" two of his six kids to spend December 18th with him on his birthday. "Brad loves his kids and it would mean the world to him to have them spend his special day with him," said the source.

"But it is not looking so great so far. Some of the kids still talk to him, some do not. It is very tricky."

Over the past year, various of his kids have decided to drop Pitt, going only by their mother's surname. Shiloh filed to change her name shortly after celebrating her 18th birthday, while videos of her sister Zahara show her introducing herself to her sorority sisters as "Zahara Jolie."

“They used to have a good relationship but that’s in the past and it breaks his heart,” said a source to Page Six at the time of Shiloh's name change.

Various reports claim that Maddox and Pax aren't on speaking terms with Pitt. Knox and Vivienne appear to be the only siblings still in touch with their father, even though they haven't been photographed with him in years.

This past year, the kids have been photographed with their mom Angelina Jolie numerous times, with Vivienne accompanying her to the Tony Awards, and Knox acting as her date at the Governors Awards.

Pitt has been missing his kids this holiday season

The holiday season has been emotional for Pitt, with various sources claiming that he misses his kids and wishes he had a better relationship with them. “Brad is missing his kids and wishes he had a closer relationship with them, particularly with celebrating the holidays and his birthday this month,” said a source to Page Six.

Despite the tension that exists with his kids, Pitt seems to be happy when it comes to his love life, with his relationship with Ines de Ramon continuing to grow. De Ramon, who's been dating Pitt since 2022, “is supportive and Brad is looking forward to ringing in the new year with her.”
