Shakira sings an iconic salsa song in a new potato chips commercial

The latest ad shows the mom of two arriving at a hotel room and finding a bag of potato chips. After grabbing the bag, she walks to a table after hearing the sound of the iconic salsa song, “Ven, Devórame Otra Vez,” originally sung by Lalo Rodríguez.

When she opens the cloche, she unveils a mouthwatering ham sandwich that invites her to eat them to the song’s rhythm.

Shakira immediately engaged with the meal and began dancing and singing a duet —which everyone should have on their favorite music platforms.

After a few dance moves, she finally opens the bag of potato chips and carefully fills her plate next to the sandwich.

The following take shows the singer sitting on her room’s balcony while delighting in the salty snack.

Shakira’s commercial comes after Gerard Piqué found himself amidst enthusiastic fans at the “Kings League” seven-a-side tournament. With a microphone in hand and a speech in mind, Piqué took to the stage at the Madrid nightclub, when within seconds, the crowd erupted into a chorus of chants about Shakira.

The noise was so thunderous that his words got lost in the chants. Videos of the scene spread like wildfire on the internet, capturing Piqué‘s unexpected encounter with his past. “Shakira! Shakira!” the crowd chanted multiple times.

Amidst the laughter and provocation, Piqué took it all in stride, and despite the initial difficulties, he slowly began commanding the crowd, eventually allowing him to speak.
