Meadow Walker, the 22-year-old daughter of the late Paul Walker has walked down the aisle and said I do to Louis Thornton-Allan after a two-month engagement. While there are many reasons a bride does not walk down the aisle with her father, Meadow lost her dad Paul in 2013. In tear joking photos she shared on Instagram, she revealed that her godfather, and Paul’s friend, and Fast and Furious co-star Vin Diesel, walked her down the aisle in his place. She shared a black and white look at the wedding ceremony that took place in the Dominican Republic with the caption, “we’re married !!!!” Along with photos. The bond between Diesel and his god-daughter is strong. Diesel told Extra in June, “She’s the first person on Father’s Day to wish me Happy Father’s Day.” “To see her with my children is one of the most beautiful things. There are moments when I see her playing with [his 6-year-old daughter] Pauline, and it hits me so deep ’cause I can only imagine what my brother sees when he sees that.” “I feel very protective,” he added.

She told Vogue, “The pandemic impacted our plans,” noting “Louis’s family wasn’t able to attend. A lot of close friends whom we consider family was also unable to attend due to travel restrictions.” Jordana Brewster, who played “Mia” Paul’s girlfriend in the franchise was also present at the ceremony.

While Meadow just shared the photos and videos, Vogue reports that the wedding took place “earlier this month.” Her hubby shared photos of himself in the same tux on Instagram on October 12th which could give an idea of when it all went down. Meadow wore a custom Givenchy Haute Couture dress for the ceremony in the Dominican Republic. She had another celebration in New York where she wore a more “fun and youthful” dress.
