Queen Máxima is continuing her colorful fashion streak during her official visit to Ghana. Just one day after stepping out in a flowing coral paisley ensemble for a meeting with the King of the Ashanti, the Dutch royal made another statement in a striking green dress featuring a bold print and an unexpected silhouette.
The queen, who is visiting the West African country in her role as the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Financial Health, stepped out in Accra on November 5 for a series of engagements focused on financial well-being and economic resilience.
For the occasion, Máxima selected a long-sleeved dress featuring an abstract green-and-white print contrasted with deep teal panels. The eye-catching design included a bow detail at the neckline, a fitted waist and an asymmetrical hemline that created movement as she walked.
The vibrant combination of lime green, white and dark teal made the ensemble stand out, while the draped detailing around the waist added an elegant touch to the otherwise playful design.
She paired the look with white pointed-toe heels featuring transparent panels, a coordinating light-colored shoulder bag and oversized green statement earrings.
Unlike her previous appearance, which featured an elegant updo, Máxima wore her blonde hair down in a straight, shoulder-length style with a side part, completing the look with natural makeup and her signature warm smile.
Queen Máxima continues her official engagements in Ghana
The Dutch queen's latest appearance took place in Accra, where she met with government representatives and officials to discuss financial health and policies aimed at improving economic resilience.
At Ghana's Ministry of Finance, Máxima attended meetings with Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson and other government representatives as part of her ongoing work with the United Nations.
Photographs from the visit showed the royal walking alongside officials, greeting attendees and participating in discussions about financial inclusion and development.
She was also photographed speaking during an event focused on Ghana's financial future, highlighting the importance of accessible financial services and policies that support individuals and families.
A colorful royal wardrobe in Ghana
Máxima's latest ensemble follows another memorable fashion moment earlier in her visit.
During a meeting with Asantehene Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, the King of the Ashanti, she wore a flowing coral-colored outfit adorned with an intricate paisley print in shades of cream, gray and olive green.
The royal completed that look with statement earrings and a structured brown handbag, creating a striking contrast with the vibrant traditional garments worn by members of the Ashanti royal court.
Her latest green ensemble offered a different take on statement dressing, trading flowing paisley patterns for a more contemporary silhouette and abstract print.
Known for her love of bold colors, elaborate accessories and unexpected combinations, Queen Máxima has once again demonstrated her distinctive approach to royal fashion while carrying out her international duties.
