Princess Charlene of Monaco is making a stylish case for one of fall's most versatile wardrobe staples. The royal stepped out on Friday, November 6, wearing a sophisticated leather blazer that brought a modern twist to classic autumn dressing.
Known for her elegant and often minimalist approach to fashion, the 48-year-old royal embraced a warm cognac-colored leather jacket featuring a structured silhouette, notched lapels, and a double-breasted design.
She paired the statement piece with a crisp white button-down shirt and navy wide-leg trousers, creating a polished ensemble that balanced timeless tailoring with contemporary proportions.
Charlene completed the outfit with pointed-toe brown shoes, delicate stud earrings, and understated makeup. Her signature blonde bob was styled in a sleek, side-parted look, adding to the effortless sophistication of the ensemble.
Princess Charlene makes a case for the leather blazer this fall
While leather jackets have long been associated with cooler temperatures, the leather blazer offers a more refined alternative to the traditional biker silhouette.
Charlene's choice demonstrated how the wardrobe staple can elevate even the simplest outfit. The rich caramel tones of her jacket brought warmth to her otherwise neutral ensemble, while the relaxed tailoring gave the look a modern feel.
Rather than opting for an all-leather outfit, the royal paired the statement jacket with classic separates, allowing the material and silhouette to take center stage.
Her styling also highlighted the versatility of brown leather, which pairs effortlessly with navy, white, black, and other neutral shades. Whether worn with tailored trousers for a polished daytime look or styled with denim for a more casual occasion, the leather blazer remains a practical yet sophisticated addition to a fall wardrobe.
Princess Charlene steps out alongside her brother Gareth Wittstock
The stylish appearance came as Princess Charlene visited the waste processing center operated by the Société Monégasque d'Assainissement (SMA) in Monaco.
According to the Prince's Palace, the royal was accompanied by her brother, Gareth Wittstock, and Antoine Zeghdar during the engagement, which offered an opportunity to meet employees and learn more about their daily responsibilities.
The visit highlighted the essential work carried out by the organization's teams, including public-space cleaning, waste collection, treatment, and recycling.
Charlene also addressed employees during the engagement, expressing her appreciation for their dedication to keeping the principality clean. "Thanks to you, Monaco is clean and it is good to live in our beautiful Principality," she said, according to a translation of the palace's statement.
The organization, which has served Monaco for 88 years, is preparing to celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2028. During the visit, Charlene also joined employees for a group photograph, layering an orange high-visibility safety vest over her sophisticated leather ensemble.
