Princess Rajwa of Jordan delivered another standout royal fashion moment as she stepped out alongside her husband, Crown Prince Hussein, for a special engagement in Amman.
The royal couple attended the graduation ceremony for the sixth cohort of Al Hussein Technical University, celebrating 450 graduates.
Crown Prince Hussein marked the occasion on social media, congratulating the students and their families while expressing his appreciation for the university's staff and their dedication over the past decade.
For the occasion, Rajwa stepped away from traditional royal tailoring and embraced a sophisticated, fashion-forward ensemble with a distinctly contemporary edge.
A striking metallic moment:
The Princess wore an all-grey ensemble by Japanese label Toga Archives, pairing an oversized slate-grey shirt with an intricate paisley jacquard pattern with a flowing metallic skirt.
The voluminous shirt brought structure to the look, while her shimmering silver pleated skirt created a dramatic contrast. Sitting high on the waist before falling into fluid pleats, the design highlighted Rajwa's silhouette while adding movement and shine to the monochromatic outfit.
Rajwa completed her look with a black Alaïa bag, introducing a sleek, minimalist accessory that allowed the textures and metallic finish of her ensemble to remain the focus.
The unexpected combination offered a fresh interpretation of royal dressing. Rather than opting for a classic dress, pantsuit or coordinated tailoring, Rajwa mixed an oversized silhouette with a waist-defining metallic skirt for an outfit that felt polished without playing it safe.
Rajwa's elegant beauty look:
Her beauty look was equally sophisticated. The Princess swept her brunette hair into an elegant low updo, leaving delicate face-framing strands loose at the front for a softer, romantic finish.
Rajwa complemented the hairstyle with understated makeup. Her luminous complexion was paired with softly defined eyes and a neutral lip, keeping the overall effect refined and allowing the cool grey and silver tones of her outfit to take center stage.
The appearance is the latest example of Rajwa's increasingly distinctive approach to royal fashion. Her wardrobe often balances timeless elegance with modern silhouettes, unexpected proportions and pieces from both international and Middle Eastern designers.
Rajwa also has an extensive creative background. The Saudi-born royal studied architecture at Syracuse University's School of Architecture, graduating in 2017.
She later studied visual communications at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. Before joining Jordan's royal family, she worked professionally in architecture and design.
Her architectural training makes her affinity for clean lines, sculptural shapes and carefully considered proportions particularly fitting, although Rajwa herself has not publicly attributed her fashion choices to her studies.
A milestone year for Rajwa and Hussein:
The engagement comes during another memorable year for the royal couple. In June 2026, Rajwa and Hussein celebrated their third wedding anniversary, three years after their royal wedding in Amman on June 1, 2023.
The couple are also parents to Princess Iman, whom they welcomed in August 2024. Since becoming a mother, Rajwa has continued to expand her presence at royal engagements in Jordan and abroad.
Her recent appearances have also showcased the versatility of her wardrobe, from streamlined monochromatic looks and structured silhouettes to pieces celebrating regional designers and her Saudi heritage.
With her shimmering metallic skirt, oversized jacquard shirt and romantic updo, her latest appearance proved that Rajwa can push the boundaries of traditional royal dressing while maintaining the polished elegance that has become a hallmark of her style.
