History, fashion, and family came together at Monaco's Prince's Palace on Wednesday. Princess Caroline of Monaco and her daughter, Alexandra of Hanover, joined Prince Albert to visit Le Mariage du Siècle. Monaco, 12-19 avril 1956, an exhibition organized to mark the 70th anniversary of the wedding of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III.

Through photographs, personal belongings, and previously unseen memorabilia, the exhibition revisits one of the most celebrated royal weddings of the 20th century and honors the enduring legacy of Grace Kelly, whose timeless sense of style continues to inspire generations of women in her family.

The memory of the beloved princess remains especially present in the wardrobes of her daughters and granddaughters, who frequently pay tribute to her through their fashion choices.

With two distinct yet equally sophisticated looks, Princess Caroline and Alexandra once again proved that understated elegance and timeless style remain hallmarks of the Grimaldi family.

Princess Caroline of Monaco's modern elegance:

"Caroline's style is sophisticated and classic, built around timeless wardrobe staples. While that could sometimes translate into an old-fashioned image, she manages to bring freshness to her outfits through contemporary silhouettes and a relaxed approach to styling," stylist Bianca Fuentes explained, adding that the princess remains attentive to trends and knows how to adapt them to her personal aesthetic without losing her essence.

That perfect balance between elegance and modernity was clearly reflected in the outfit Princess Caroline chose for the exhibition honoring her parents.

Whether by coincidence or not, the princess attended the wedding-themed exhibition wearing a look that perfectly suited the occasion. She embraced an all-white palette with a combination beloved by some of Europe's most stylish royals for both everyday engagements and special occasions: a classic shirt paired with an A-line midi skirt.

Caroline wore a crisp white blouse, one of fashion's most timeless essentials, with a delicate Chanel skirt featuring a high waist and flared silhouette that could easily evoke the elegance of bridal fashion.

Crafted from intricate lace, the design combined floral motifs with the French fashion house's iconic double-C logo. Caroline has maintained a close relationship with Chanel for decades.

Alexandra of Hanover coordinates with her mother:

Princess Caroline's youngest daughter, Alexandra of Hanover, joined her mother and Prince Albert for the special occasion. Her presence came as little surprise, as she has often spoken through her style choices about the admiration she holds for her late grandmother.

This time, Alexandra coordinated her look with her mother's, embracing the same sophisticated and timeless formula while opting for a darker color palette. She selected a slightly satin-finished black top inspired by oriental silhouettes, pairing it with a straight floral-print skirt that fell below the knee.

For accessories, Alexandra chose dark block-heeled sandals with an ankle strap for added comfort and carried a practical gray nylon bucket bag by Prada. Although she wore it in hand, the versatile design can also be styled in multiple ways.
