What a surprise! Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía weren’t about to miss Bad Bunny’s concert in Madrid. The daughters of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia were spotted on Sunday, June 7, enjoying the music of the chart-topping Puerto Rican star like any other devoted fans.
Journalist Javi Hoyos shared the unexpected footage of the sisters on social media, showing them singing and dancing alongside friends. Leonor, 20, wore jeans, a red T-shirt, and a matching red handbag, accessorized with a bracelet and sunglasses perched on her head. Sofía, 18, opted for a more understated all-white look.

These images are great because they remind us they’re human, they’re young women enjoying themselves.”

While Leonor and Sofía enjoyed the concert from a private box, Spanish actors such as Carmen Machi and Paco León were among the guests in the iconic casita. They weren’t alone, however. Joining them were other Spanish celebrities: Canco Rodríguez and David Castillo, their former Aída co-stars.

Just hours before the Puerto Rican singer took the stage, Leonor and Sofía attended the Corpus Christi Mass celebrated by Pope Leo XIV in Madrid’s Plaza de Cibeles alongside their parents.
Coincidentally, the Pope himself joked about sharing the city with Bad Bunny.
© JAVIER SORIANO“Would young people rather see Bad Bunny or the Pope?” Leo XIV quipped when speaking to reporters aboard the flight from Rome to Madrid. “Many will be going to the Bad Bunny concert, but I’m convinced there will also be some who come to see the Pope. And that says a lot.”
The pontiff also laughed that he probably wouldn’t get the chance to meet the singer behind hits such as NUEVAYoL and Debí Tirar Más Fotos, since their schedules overlapped. While the Pope was attending an event bringing together leaders from the worlds of culture, sports, and business at Madrid’s Movistar Arena, Bad Bunny was preparing for another massive performance at the Metropolitano Stadium.

Leonor and Sofía’s appearance at the Bad Bunny concert comes just months after they attended Rosalía’s concert at Madrid’s Movistar Arena in April, further highlighting their love of live music.
On that occasion, the sisters were joined by their mother, Queen Letizia, according to journalist Marta Riesco, who shared the sighting on social media.
“They had an amazing time,” Riesco said. “They arrived a few minutes after the concert started and left before the opening notes of Magnolias. Such a shame, because for me it was one of the best songs of the night.”

Wanting the best possible view, the three stood on the floor near the stage, blending into the crowd of fans cheering for the former One Direction star.
A Passion That Runs in the Family
It seems Leonor and Sofía have inherited their mother’s love of live music. Queen Letizia has long been known as an avid concertgoer. Among her favorite bands are Spanish pop-rock groups Hombres G and Supersubmarina, though she is also known to enjoy Portuguese singer Carminho and the extraordinary talent of celebrated violinist Ara Malikian.
