Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan marked Princess Rajwa of Jordan’s 32nd birthday with a previously unseen family photograph and a personal message that offered a rare glimpse into their private life.

The image shows the couple with their daughter, Princess Iman of Jordan, who will turn two in August. Rajwa, wearing a braided updo and an embroidered silk blouse, holds the toddler in her arms as Hussein leans in to kiss his daughter’s cheek.

The setting appears to be the palace gardens, where the young princess, now walking, has increasingly been seen in informal family moments shared by her parents.

Alongside the photo, the Crown Prince wrote in Arabic and English, combining a birthday message with a prayer. “Every day with you is a blessing,” he said, addressing his “beloved wife.”

At the same time, Queen Rania of Jordan shared her own message, posting a photograph of herself embracing her daughter-in-law. Both are dressed in coordinated green tones, underscoring the close relationship they have presented publicly. The Queen described Rajwa as a source of “joy and love” in the family.

Since her engagement to King Abdullah II of Jordan’s eldest son was announced, Rajwa has taken on an increasingly visible role within the Hashemite court.

The couple married in Amman in June 2023 in a ceremony attended by international royalty, including King Juan Carlos I of Spain, Queen Sofia of Spain, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, Prince William, Prince of Wales, and Catherine, Princess of Wales.

A major milestone for the couple came in August 2024 with the birth of their daughter, Princess Iman, the first granddaughter of the Jordanian monarchs.

Born in Saudi Arabia and trained as an architect in the United States, Rajwa has since built a public profile that blends international style with references to Jordanian heritage. She has accompanied the Crown Prince on official engagements and overseas visits, signaling a growing role in public and diplomatic life.
