Queen Letizia continues to set the tone for elegant professional dressing. During a recent appearance at the Palace of Zarzuela, the Spanish royal demonstrated a stylish alternative to the classic power suit with a look that combined sophistication and comfort.

After traveling to Almería earlier this week, the queen returned to Madrid to resume her official agenda with three audiences at the royal residence. While King Felipe VI of Spain is currently on an official trip to Chile, Letizia carried out her engagements with a polished ensemble that caught the attention of royal watchers and fashion observers alike.

A chic alternative to the classic suit

Queen Letizia is well known for her tailored suits, which have become one of her signature looks for official engagements. This time, she opted for a softer approach.

Instead of a blazer set, the queen chose a romantic bow-tie blouse with slightly puffed sleeves. The delicate design added a refined look to her outfit, offering a fresh take on professional dressing.

She paired the blouse with wide-leg trousers featuring a micro Vichy check pattern, designed by Pomandère. The pants were not entirely new to her wardrobe; Letizia first wore them during the closing ceremony of the International Seminar on Language and Journalism at the Monastery of Yuso.

At that event, she styled the pants with a striking leather coat.

Comfortable shoes become a royal staple

In recent months, Queen Letizia has noticeably changed her footwear choices after revealing ongoing foot health issues. Instead of the towering stilettos she once favored, she has turned to comfortable yet elegant shoes.

One of her preferred styles now is the loafer-inspired pump, featuring a masculine aesthetic with a strap across the instep and a block heel.

For this appearance, Letizia chose a pair by Spanish brand Pons Quintana, which she first debuted in 2024, during an event commemorating World Mental Health Day. She owns a similar design from Massimo Dutti, another frequent brand in her wardrobe.

The queen kept her accessories understated, allowing the outfit to take center stage.

As usual, she wore her distinctive ring from Italian brand Coreterno. The item has since become one of her most recognizable accessories.

She completed the look with simple gold hoop earrings, maintaining the refined and minimalist aesthetic that has come to define many of her recent appearances.

With this latest outfit, Queen Letizia demonstrates her ability to combine practicality, elegance, and a modern style, proving that it is possible to style workwear without relying on the traditional suit.
