Sold! Princess Märtha Louise of Norway's home in Lommedalen has new owners. According to TV 2 Norway, the 53-year-old royal's property has been sold.

Ståle Ask Helland, a broker at Sem & Johnsen Eiendomsmegling, told TV 2 Norway (translated to English): "I can confirm that a nice family with children has purchased the property for 19 million kroner. Both buyer and seller are very satisfied. Beyond that, I have no comment."

King Harald V and Queen Sonja's daughter shared in May that she was selling the four-bedroom home. On her personal Instagram, she wrote (translated to English): "Our house in Lommadalen has been the best place for our children to grow up. That's where we have the most peace, recharged. So close to nature, but still not so far from Oslo. And with Bærums Værk right around the corner. It is in this house that we have had the funniest parties, the greatest conversations, the deepest meditation. Our ups and downs."

"We have enjoyed ourselves in the nearby area with nice trips both on skis and on foot, and it is at the neighboring stable, Stall Eide, that the children learned to ride," the mom of three continued. "The slalombakken in Lommedalen was diligently used and even though we are not golfing, the golf course is right by (with a very nice ake hill in the winter). But there's a time for everything, and we're all excited for new people to experience this wonderful house to live in. Finding the same peace, the same joy of seeing the children playing in front of the house. Finding a place they can call home. Sink into bird quotes and lower their shoulders every time they drive past the waterfall below the house on the way home. We're looking forward to meeting you."

Months later, on Aug. 3, the Princess revealed that the house was "up for sale again." She penned, "Just waiting for a new family to love it as much as we have. Horses, skiing, golf, and outdoor activities within a 5-minute radius. The house loves children laughs, game nights, movie nights, music nights, birthday parties, family dinners, low shoulders, sleepovers and late night cooking with good friends. We have so much to thank this beautiful house for and we look forward to someone else having the opportunity to experience the security it provides. Maybe it's you guys? ❤️❤️."

The property was listed for 18,000,000 kr, which is about $1,861,119.14. News of the house's sale comes ahead of the Princess and Shaman Durek Verrett's first wedding anniversary. The couple tied the knot on Aug. 31, 2024 in Geiranger, Norway. Princess Märtha Louise's husband commented on her post about the house being for sale again earlier this month, writing: "I will miss this sanctuary ❤️."
