There was a pitch-perfect rendezvous between Princesses at the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 final. The Prince of Wales attended Sunday's match in Basel, Switzerland, where his daughter Princess Charlotte met Spain's Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia.

Casa de S.M. el Rey and the Waleses' social media accounts shared photos of the Princesses meeting. "The Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofía, along with the Prince of Wales and Princess Charlotte, at the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 Final," Casa de S.M. el Rey wrote alongside pictures on X (translated to English).

Prince William, who is an avid soccer fan and patron of the Football Association, traveled to Switzerland with his little Princess to cheer on England in the final, while Queen Letizia and King Felipe's teenage daughters were on hand to support Spain.

Charlotte's older brother Prince George met Infanta Sofia last year at the UEFA EURO 2024 final match between Spain and England in Berlin. Just earlier this month, the Waleses reunited with Leonor and Sofia's father, King Felipe, at Wimbledon.

Following the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 final on July 27, which England won, William and Charlotte hit the field at St. Jakob-Park. A sweet photo of the Prince with his arm around his daughter was posted on X with the caption: "CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿."

The father-daughter duo also shared a message on social media that read: "What a game! @Lionesses, you are the champions of Europe and we couldn’t be prouder of the whole team. Enjoy this moment @England. W & Charlotte."

King Charles additionally congratulated the Lionesses on their victory. "This brings you, your manager and all your support team my most heartfelt congratulations on winning the EUROS 2025. For more years than I care to remember, England fans have sung that famous chant 'football's coming home'. As you return home with the trophy you won at Wembley three years ago, it is a source of great pride that, through sporting skill and awesome teamwork, the Lionesses have made those words ring true," Charles said.

"For this, you have my whole family's warmest appreciation and admiration. More than that, though, you have shown through your example over past weeks that there are no setbacks so tough that defeat cannot be transformed into victory, even as the final whistle looms," His Majesty continued. "Well done, Lionesses. The next task is to bring home the World Cup in 2027 if you possibly can!"

After the game, Leonor and Sofia greeted Spain women's national football team players. Casa de S.M. el Rey called the team a "source of pride!" adding, "I'm sure your quality and effort will bring many more successes."

William visited the Lionesses at St. George’s Park ahead of the 2025 Women’s Euros. The Waleses celebrated the team making it to the finals last week, writing on X: "Brilliant performance @Lionesses! One game from glory! #WEURO2025."

Back in 2022, William and Charlotte recorded a special video wishing the England women’s national football team good luck in the UEFA Women’s EURO final. Prior to the final that year, the heir to the throne delivered a message from his daughter to the team. “Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she is really good at goal. She said, ‘Please tell them that,’” William told them. “Budding star for the future.”
