Princess Rajwa of Jordan made a public appearance alongside her husband Crown Prince Hussein this week. The royal couple stepped out on Tuesday, March 25, for a joint engagement at the Children’s Museum Jordan, where the pair hosted an iftar for children from 14 social welfare centers.

Rajwa looked chic dressed in a brown two-piece kaftan from Dubai-based fashion line Bambah. Hussein wrote on his personal Instagram that he and his wife, who became first-time parents last year, "were overjoyed to share" the "iftar with children from orphan care homes." The message was accompanied by photos of himself and Rajwa at the museum in Amman.

The Crown Prince also shared footage from the outing in a video, which he captioned: "Today’s iftar was filled with love and positive energy with our wonderful children. May God bless them."

The couple's visit to the museum came four days after Rajwa celebrated her first Mother's Day. Hussein marked the holiday in Jordan on March 21 with a heartfelt tribute to his wife and his mother, Queen Rania. Alongside a photo of Rajwa cradling their 7-month-old daughter Princess Iman, and one of his mom with her first grandchild, the Crown Prince wrote, "‏To my beloved mother and my loving wife, your presence fills our lives with joy, and your love is the true meaning of giving. Happy Mother’s Day."

Rajwa and Hussein, who wed in 2023, welcomed their first child, Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, on Aug. 3, 2024 at the King Hussein Medical Center. In a statement announcing the royal baby's birth, the Royal Hashemite Court said: "Their Royal Highnesses are immensely overjoyed and thankful on welcoming their firstborn, and call on well-wishers to consider donating to Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans in lieu of sending gifts or flowers."

Following his daughter's arrival, Crown Prince Hussein wrote on his Instagram: "Praise be to God for His abundant blessings. We are immensely grateful for the safe birth of our daughter and the health of my beloved wife, Rajwa."

He added, "Our heartfelt thanks to our family and the Jordanian people for their kind wishes, which deeply touched us during these special moments."

Princess Iman, whose name is a "feminine Arabic name meaning 'belief' and 'faith,'" is Queen Rania and King Abdullah II's first grandchild.Their Majesties' second grandchild, Amina—daughter of Hussein's sister Princess Iman and her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis—was born on Feb. 16 at the Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II Hospital in Aqaba. "My darling Iman is now a mother. We’re grateful and overjoyed to meet Amina, our family’s newest blessing," Rania penned on her Instagram after Amina's arrival. "Congratulations Jameel and Iman – may God bless you and your precious little girl."
