Cardi B is making sure her Milan Fashion Week wardrobe gets just as much attention after dark. The rapper was photographed arriving at a Vogue World after-party in Milan following a major night at Vogue World: Milano on September 22. For her late-night appearance, Cardi traded the colorful archival Versace gown she wore on the runway for a warm-toned ensemble built around a dark orange blouse and mustard-yellow micro shorts.
The outfit was striking without relying on the kind of elaborate red-carpet styling Cardi is known for. Instead, the rapper leaned into rich autumn colors, dramatic proportions and a few unexpected accessories.

Then came the color twist with extra-long cobalt-blue nails. The vivid manicure broke up the orange, mustard and brown palette, giving the outfit an unmistakably Cardi finish.

Cardi's after-party look was essentially a masterclass in mixing closely related colors without making an outfit feel overly coordinated. The dark burnt-orange blouse and mustard shorts sat within the same warm palette, while her brown heels added another earthy shade. Oversized brown-tinted sunglasses kept the tonal dressing going.
Her dramatic black hair was another major part of the look. Cardi wore it exceptionally long and voluminous, with large curls surrounding her face and cascading well past her shoulders. The oversized silhouette of the hair provided a glamorous counterpoint to the tiny proportions of the shorts.

Allure reported that Cardi wore a cobalt-blue manicure with a hint of purple for her runway appearance earlier in the evening, pairing the nails with sparkling magenta eye makeup and her voluminous black curls.

The after-party outfit followed a considerably more elaborate fashion moment. Cardi became part of the show. Vogue World took place on September 22 inside Milan's historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, coinciding with the first day of Milan Fashion Week. The 2026 edition focused on Italian craftsmanship and the relationship between fashion's artisanal history and its technological future.
Cardi appeared during the show's "Patterns" section in an archival Versace gown from the fashion house's Spring 2018 collection. The body-skimming dress was covered with colorful pop-art interpretations of vintage Vogue covers.

The Spring 2018 Versace collection was created by Donatella Versace as a tribute to her late brother, Gianni Versace, around the 20th anniversary of his death.
For the collection, Donatella revisited prints and imagery associated with Gianni's work, including elements inspired by his pop-culture-heavy Spring 1991 collection. Cardi's Vogue World appearance therefore connected the rapper's love of maximalist fashion with a significant chapter in Versace history.
