Camila and Vida McConaughey twin in matching red carpet looks during rare mother-daughter outing

Camila Alves McConaughey made the red carpet a family affair, and a stylish one, when she stepped out with her daughter Vida McConaughey at the TIME Women of the Year Gala in Los Angeles.

The mother-daughter duo attended the 2026 ceremony on March 10 at The West Hollywood EDITION, turning heads with perfectly coordinated blazer-inspired looks.

For the evening, Camila Alves McConaughey, 43, opted for a sleek ivory white blazer gown featuring a long, tailored silhouette and a deep lapel neckline. She paired the sophisticated piece with pointed white stiletto heels, leaning into the polished, minimalist aesthetic.

Her daughter, Vida McConaughey, 16, the middle child of Camila and actor Matthew McConaughey, mirrored the style with a youthful twist. Vida wore a shorter black blazer dress, styled with sheer tights and platform heels, creating a modern contrast to her mother’s elegant ivory look.

The pair also highlighted their striking resemblance with coordinated beauty choices. Both wore their signature long, dark hair in loose natural waves, a detail that emphasized their similar features as they posed for photos on the blue carpet.

Vida’s appearance marked a rare public outing for the teenager, who is usually kept out of the spotlight along with her brothers Levi, 17, and Livingston, 13. Camila later shared the moment on social media, reflecting on how meaningful the evening was for her daughter.

The model said it was an honor to attend the event with Vida and described the night as a special opportunity for her to witness and be surrounded by extraordinary women from different fields who are making an inspiring impact and changing lives.

The prestigious event brought together several influential women from entertainment and beyond, including Lucy Liu, Isla Fisher, and Mariska Hargitay.

Among those honored were Teyana Taylor, recognized for her film performance that earned her an Oscar nomination, and Sheryl Lee Ralph, celebrated for her Emmy-winning role as Barbara Howard on the hit series Abbott Elementary.

Public appearances with the McConaughey children remain rare. The last time the family stepped out together was at the Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala in 2025, a charity event supporting causes including the Just Keep Livin’ Foundation and The Rise School of Austin.

As the McConaughey children grow up, they’re beginning to carve out their own paths. Levi, the eldest, has already stepped into the spotlight with acting roles in films like 'Way of the Warrior Kid' alongside Chris Pratt, as well as 'The Lost Bus,' directed by Paul Greengrass.

But on this particular night, it was Camila and Vida who stole the show, proving that coordinated tailoring and effortless elegance can make one of the most memorable red carpet statements.
