Karol G made sure all eyes were on her before she even hit the red carpet at the 2026 Grammy Awards. The Colombian superstar stepped out in a dramatic, body-hugging gown by Paolo Sebastian, delivering one of the night’s most talked-about fashion moments as the Grammys leaned heavily into Latin excellence.

The ethereal design featured delicate lacework layered over a corseted silhouette, complete with off-the-shoulder straps and a thigh-high slit that added a modern edge to the romantic craftsmanship.

A matching lace shawl, finished with cascading fringe, brought movement and texture to the look, while her signature waves and minimal accessories let the gown take center stage.

The effect was equal parts elegance and confidence, a visual statement befitting one of Latin music’s most powerful global voices.

Ahead of her red carpet arrival, Karol G had already been enjoying a celebratory weekend in Los Angeles.

The singer shared moments from a fun night out that included a sweet exchange with Paris Hilton, who told TNT on the red carpet that she was “proud” of Karol G, a nod to the singer’s growing influence well beyond the Latin music space.

Fashion aside, Karol G’s presence at the Grammys comes at a pivotal moment for Latin music.

The 2026 awards arrive as Latin music revenue reached a record $1.42 billion in 2025, underscoring the genre’s expanding impact. This year’s nominations reflect that momentum, with Latino artists dominating major categories and conversations.

Karol G represents Colombia among a strong lineup of Latin nominees that includes Aterciopelados, Bomba Estéreo, Andrés Cepeda, Paola Jara, Feid, and more.

She is nominated for Best Latin Pop Album for 'Tropicoqueta,' competing against heavyweights like Bad Bunny, Rauw Alejandro, Alejandro Sanz, and fellow Colombian Andrés Cepeda.
