Keyne, Lamine Yamal’s little brother, has become a mini celebrity at the FIFA World Cup 2026

The 2026 World Cup final was no exception: the three-year-old went to New York New Jersey Stadium with his mother, Sheila Ebana, to watch the nail-biting match in which Spain was crowned world champion with a 1–0 score, defeating Argentina. Keyne proved he’s the number one fan of both his big brother and ‘La Roja’, and at the end of the match he joined Lamine out on the field at New York New Jersey Stadium.

On her social media, Sheila Ebana shared several photos taken outside the stadium, where she appeared with her loved ones and, of course, little Keyne.

For one of the most important days of her son’s career, Sheila wore a look styled by Marc Jacobs: her son’s number 19 jersey, plus a custom bag with his name and number. Little Keyne wore white shorts and his own number 19 jersey in honor of his big brother.

Sheila was joined by the people closest to Lamine, including a young man identified as Sohaib, Lamine Yamal’s childhood best friend. They grew up together in the Rocafonda neighborhood in Mataró, so he’s practically like a brother to him. In fact, it was Sohaib who was carrying Keyne in his arms.

Also with them were Keyne’s father, Sheila’s partner, as well as Mohamed Abde, Lamine Yamal’s cousin. Over the photo of the lively group, the proud mom wrote, “The gang is ready.”

Once the match was over, Keyne made it onto the field to celebrate with his big brother, who throughout the World Cup has made it clear that Keyne is his favorite person.

At the press conference after the Spain vs. Austria match, Lamine Yamal spoke about his little brother, who has been in the spotlight since the World Cup kicked off. “It makes me emotional to see my brother happy, my mother… living the life she always dreamed of. In the end that’s what I want, it’s a kid’s biggest dream, beyond soccer and everything else,” he said. “My brother is everything to me, it’s like he’s my own son and I’m completely in love with him,” the player added.

In the middle of the celebrations for the 2026 World Cup win, cameras caught Keyne wearing a cap that was too big for him, covering part of his eyes. Right behind him was his brother Lamine Yamal, keeping a close eye on him as always. Other images show the adorable little one wearing a police hat borrowed from one of the officers guarding the field at MetLife Stadium.
