San Juan exploded into sound and smoke as Formula 1 tore through its streets for the very first time. On the island where rhythms run deep and legends are born, Bad Bunny and Esteban Gutiérrez delivered a show unlike anything Puerto Rico had ever seen. A roaring demo run. A fashion moment. A cultural takeover. This was history, at 200 miles per hour.

Over 9,000 fans packed San Juan’s iconic Puente Dos Hermanos, camping out overnight to get the best spots to witness the roar of a silver bullet slicing through the Caribbean Island.

At the wheel was the Mexican race car driver from Monterrey, Esteban Gutiérrez, and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS pilot, who brought the streets to life with burnouts, donuts, and high-speed laps that sent vibrations through the island.

All of it unfolded as part of a collaboration between Bad Bunny, adidas Originals, and the F1 Team, a celebration of Latino power, Puerto Rico and Mexico meet a global passion with their dreams.

Benito Always in Style

Bad Bunny didn’t just show up. He showed out. Dressed in golden mustard and blush pink, Benito stepped into the paddock looking like a champion of both fashion and folklore. He paired a full-zip hoodie with a pale yellow plaid shirt and topped it off with a taupe tie, an unexpected yet effortless look that was totally him.

Blush pink shorts added a pop of playfulness, while a houndstooth cap and oversized wraparound shades sealed the look. It was casual. It was polished. It was Benito rewriting the dress code, again. And just like that, a Formula 1 demo became a style moment. The crowd didn’t just cheer for the car. They screamed for the icon standing next to it.

The Island Felt Every Second

As the demo came to life, all of Puerto Rico stood still, then it erupted. Fans on rooftops and balconies in Old San Juan chanted, waved flags, and turned their streets into a typarade. This occasion wasn’t a concert. This wasn’t a parade. This was Formula 1 with Caribbean flavor, and every lap told a story of pride, power, and possibility.

The timing aligned with Bad Bunny’s sold-out No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, and the event brought together three of the biggest forces in music, fashion, and racing.
